It doesn't matter which makes more profit but i think the question should have been which is a suitable way in making profit. Because ever since i join the financial investment industry stocks have never been a sure bet for me. I always lose and so many friends of mine also did same, but with crypto is more like a win win for everyone unless you decide to go in for margin trading or sell cheap. I like to invest into cryptocurrencies other than stocks.

To summarize it to you:

Cryptocurrency = High risk, high reward.
This is because most cryptocurrencies are decentralized, and therefore volatile. You could earn, or lose a lot in just few hours.

Stock Trading = Lower risk, lower reward
Due to lower volatility, you can't earn that much especially if your capital is low. Higher investments, however, yields to rewards enough for a living (but needs extensive knowledge on charts and indicators).

Still better to do both, I have both but more focus on crypto as it's too volatile unlike in stocks that if we buy some shares in company we can just hold it especially if that company is known in your country as they are good to hold for short or long term with less risk.

If you think there are sure bets in investment, then you just could be in for a rude shock somewhere down the line;) There's that age-old advice you'll find on any prospectus for stocks or any other formal investment vehicle: never invest what you can't afford to lose.

I do agree crypto is win win... whatever the price, it's something I can use to keep value, to transact in, to earn my salary in and to pay for things with. Speculation aside, there's actually other stuff I can think of where Bitcoin's useful in itself. Signing a message to prove ownership of funds, how about that?

Both can be as profitable as you can get as long as you know what you are doing. Fundamentals of trading apply to both. So if you just throw in money because people are saying crypto is profitable, then prepare yourself to lose money.

My stock investment in 2017 has doubled in value. You cannot say that the same is true to those who invested in bitcoin in late 2017.

The Question:
Wich way is more profit?
Crypto or stock market?

What are other ways to get good profits besides crypto?

If you are looking for profit, then crypto would be your best alternative but be sure that it comes with its own costs too which is the risk of losing your investment before you even get to learn about how the crypto market works. Today we have seen price crashed, we have equally seen an ATH and so seen some fairly rise in price. You need to be mentally ready for what comes. Other route again is to do investment in other less risky sources of inflow such as Treasury bills, mutual funds or crowdfunding a project to then share in its profit.

Right now? Crypto. Crypto is booming bro like literally booming so bad.
Spoken like someone who got in at a good price--and that's what it's all about, getting in at the right price.  I don't know if crypto is booming or not, because it seems like the market is going sideways right now.  But if you'd bought bitcoin in 2015 and kept it, any point in 2019 would look very good.  But if you're new and bought at $10k-20k, you're probably feeling a little sick right now.

Bitcoin - in March 2010 - $0.003, now - $6840.
Can't argue with that, but it's a little bit misleading.  All of the huge gains may already have been made since bitcoin was at or near zero.  Or maybe not--I don't have my crystal ball handy, and it doesn't work anyway.

And I can't compare crypto to the stock market anyway.  They're two very different types of investments and the markets act very differently.  I like both for very different reasons, and I'd be hard pressed to pick which one I like more.  I do think the stock market is pretty overvalued right now, so it's probably due for a big correction.

If you have enough skills, market volatility is making cryptocurrencies much more profitable. As well in some countries, you can only trade/invest in the stock market by a licensed broker. On the other hand pump and dump schemes are banned on stocks, but not crypto, so then each ICO/small volume cryptocurrency can be a potential trap.

Depends on your country. Stocks generally do not do as well as crypto in terms of price increase. Being long I traded it. Probably around 2006-2011 when things weren't as fast as they are today.
My experience back then wasn't a pleasant one. Most of my stocks were disappointing that I had to sell everything. I probably was patient and experienced.

Stock market is quite good, however, the rights isn't totally about you. You are just taking up a small propotion to a total stock market of a company you are investing with. For a lesser risk, you could have your way in stock market. In addition, in stock market, you won't be getting a bigger income when your investment is way too small. While on crypto, though the risk is highly immeasurable but the income return here is totally different. You could either earn x3 or more than of what you have invested here but the downside is that, it might all go back to zero when market isn't in your favor.

Of course, the cryptocurrency market will make you a lot more profitable than the stock market. In the cryptocurrency market, you can see BTC go up to $ 1,000 or go down to 1,000$ in just a few hours and altcoin increases 5-10 times in just one day. That's what the stock market can't do, and so the cryptocurrency market is also very risky to invest because you can lose money at any time

Each venues of investment needs patience and proper understanding, if you do know how the market will go then it will value the time that you will be using in order to find success from the field that you pick. Most of the time stock traders also follow crypto market as they seen opportunities. Using their knowledge with stock they start studying the potentials and once convince they will place their investment and see the growth of their money.

It must be depend on time and also from bitcoin on how will you manage to earn crypto because its up to you on how you will earn money on its either using from investing in crypto or better to input on stock market. The only thing you need to have is to decide on your own and especially the knowledge for everything.

The Question:

What are other ways to get good profits besides crypto?
It is obvious that if your aim is to get as much profits as possible in the shortest amount of time then the market of cryptocurrencies is by far the best bet, but that doesn't necessarily mean that this is the best market, there are many other factors that you need to take into account, for example we know that in this market there is a huge amount of scams and it is almost impossible to hold those people accountable for their crimes.

And if that was not enough the volatility of this market is many times higher than in the stock market and there are people that cannot deal with those movements and if that is the case then it is better for you to stay in the stock market.

This depends on our goal to invest, because everyone has different goals. As we know cryptocurrency and stock markets have
very different characteristics. If you want a safe investment, choose the stock market because investing there is safer, compared
cryptocurrency is very high risk. But if you want to get a fast profit and a large profit, choice of cryptocurrency. Because of investment
in cryptocurrency can be very large profits if you see the price is very volatile, can be used to generate large profits. For me since in
investment has the goal of wanting to generate a large profit, then I would prefer cryptocurrency that has opportunities greater to
obtain large profits and fast. Even though it has a very high risk.

The question is not about what's more profitable. Crypto is much volatile. But what you should worry is how knowledgeable you are at trading. It's irreverent if you're just going to make mistakes either way.

Crypto and stocks might have the same idea in terms of how to make a profit out of these but you must understand that their market behavior does have a big difference so we can't just say who will give you a better return.

You need to gain knowledge on both for you to understand what would be the best to choose.

Because we are in a crypto-related forum, expect that people will vote on crypto but if you look at the status of stocks today, there are lots of big institutions and companies involves in stock market.

It's all about right timing. Check the trend and only enter when you think it's low enough to buy but not too low that it might never recover.
This is the truth, the profit you make in any market depends on the entry point and the stock market has rallied a lot in the past few years and hence i will not suggest investing in the stock market at this point and so is the case with Foreign Exchange Market as the valuations are not conducive to make a huge return if you invest at this point in time but the case with BTCitcoin is different as the market is still recovering from the bear market we had in the past and if there is any market to invest then BTCitcoin market is the right place to make a profit than the rest of the market.
If you are looking for safe investment then investing in mutual funds is a good option as long as the stock market is booming.

I think this is one reason we shouldn't be afraid of crashed that much. IIRC Buffett made his fortune during one. For people who have never tried stocks and forex, yes I really don't think now is the right time. Better put that money to other uses first.

It really helps to have a fat enough emergency fund to weather what's coming (personally I'm working towards that). Any extra saving I'd probably put in crypto first. Even if it also get affected by a crash, because of how volatile it is, I have a higher chance of at least making the money back quicker unlike other investments (i.e. real estate) that might take years to recover after a crash.

My stock investment in 2017 has doubled in value. You cannot say that the same is true to those who invested in bitcoin in late 2017.
The reason is because the stock market was going higher during that period while the bitcoin market was going through a bear market in the last two years and hence if you invested in bitcoin when the price went low then the possibility to earn a profit much bigger than the stock exchange is possible when the rally in bitcoin starts, so both will give you a profit but the bitcoin gives you a much bigger profit in my opinion.

A short comparison of the best ones of both markets:

One of the best-performing companies of last 10 years Amazon stocks share price - in January 2009 bit below $50, now $1760.

Bitcoin - in March 2010 - $0.003, now - $6840.

This is what was before!
But what is now?
Stock market have at least fresh printed Capital in but in crypto??  Non

This is the new one. Bitcoin - $3700, now $7150    (93%)

AMD  -   Advanced Micro Devices Inc - $39.69   (110.73%)
XRX    -   Xerox Holdings Corp   -        $38.36.     (93.57%)
LRCX  -   Lam Research Corp   -        $262.87       (89.35%)
source

So, the stocks market still more profitable than bitcoin this year.

Definitely it depends on the level of risk you are willing to take. without doubt investing in cryptocurrency is a risky activity, as we got not enough historical data and the charts in my opinion are mainly moved based on sentiment, emotions and whales activity. But of course, as we have seen, the percent of profit you could potentially make is much higher. However, on stocks investments, some stocks are volatile while others are not. I personally started taking cryptocurrency as an investment opportunity much more seriously, but I am taking it slow.
