Its very easy to put in the wrong number. Many others myself included have had his happen to us. It is important to double check because unlike in a casino there are cameras and a host watching but its different online where you might have to contact customer support if there is a problem which might take a long time to fix. Hopefully the next time you place the wrong bet it wins and doesnt lose. |

This advice shouldn't only apply to Roulette games or gambling per se but should become a common everyday practice since same mistake can be experience in other fields or game. For example, the other day I lost a chance of getting something out of the game I predicted just because I was to quick to hit the lock button without cross checking my pick as I usually do. In one of the games of last week, I initially wanted to go for a 2:1 win in favor of Southampton in the game against Aston Villa but instead my bet was on a draw.
Although the game ended 3:1 in favor of Southampton which means my initial prediction would had been wrong but it would had atleast given me some points since the prediction was close but instead i lost everything due to my carelessness, (not double checking before placing my bet).

As a player it is always your responsibility to double check your bets. And this isn't just roulette either, it's every single game. I've seen the story of someone misclicking or accidentally max betting a lot and at the end of the day, it's their fault and they need to own up to it. Because if they had won the game, then obviously the casino would be obliged to pay you out. Going around trying to message support won't help. They've dealt with countless of these cases before. |

Its an expensive mistake but you will learn from it. I had a costly mistake as well and that is by using the automated betting in dice sites. So what happened is I used automated betting, then set the options to increase % when I win and increase % when I lose. This means regardless of whats the outcome, my bet size will increase. The problem is I switched to another game and used the auto bet as well, but this time the system continued to use the settings from the other game I played. Unknowingly my bet jacked up to 0.01BTC per roll and its very costly. Even not playing Roulette you must always do double checking everytime we playing because it can lessen us to make mistake. Also doing it everytime possible to lead in successful playing even sometime the outcome is not good still no regret because you do your part just learn from it. |

I experienced that one time and was schocked to see all my funds gone with one bet without me knowing it, but it was a learning experienced for me it made me realize to be more attentive in placing a bet, because you can miss and lose everything in an instant. |

I can see how this can be super annoying. Perhaps, you could suggest to the casino owner (i assume this was online) to add a feature where this UI interaction would need to be confirmed before raising with a specific value, this is how at the moment I imaging this issue could be prevented as I'm sure you're not the only one this has happened to. |

I can see how this can be super annoying. The system assume that you really meant to bet that amount but adding this feature is great, but there should also have an option to turn this thing off, because it will be annoying if it will keep on popping up this confirmation that you want to proceed with the bet. |

But yeah, I have made such mistakes on dice when I used to enable hot pads so my keyboard buttons were sensitive to bets and I bet once 0.01 btc and I lost and cried haha. Mistakes are inevitable for sometimes due to some circumstances yet we arent perfect and there are really times that we do press accidentally. Outcome would either be good or bad since theres only two results would shown up, if youre lucky enough then that accidentally bet would really result into win but if not then it would really be a big regret or frustration. |

Are you able to set an upper limit on the amount you bet to prevent such an occurrence from happening again? That's quite a stark contrast going from such a small value to a much larger value - You might also want to look at limiting the amount you have on the casino at any one time if you can't limit the bets it accepts.
