STPT Listed on Coinone, Price Jumps 40% Within a few Hours

The STP network has recently announced the listing of its STPT token on Korean exchange Coinone. According to Yahoo (https://finance.yahoo.com/news/standard-tokenization-protocol-stpt-listed-021000242.html)

it is very sad to see the the price of STPT is going down 30% and that means if that give a short hype while bitcoin is jumping back again to the top as the bitcoin is being manipulated by the whale. it looks like coinone listing didn't affect the price of the STPT but that a few days has already passed.

Exactly! Manipulated at it's finest for sure, lot of hypes and boom dumps. Majority of the pump and dumps manipulation has connected with some news regarding of listing on an exchange.
And I also suspected if Coinone is involved on this kind of issue, like pumping it and dumping it or in short manipulation.

There's literally a hype, people got caught by the hype and now they have to bear with that 30% loss in just 24 hours.
When the coin dump after it pump, it would be hard for it to pump again,  at least that is just my own observation, but still good luck for this coin, I hope they'll be able to recover so investors who got caught by FOMO won't complain and call it as a "SCAM".

coinone has 58 million usd trading volume but with over $1 million liquidity. (not good).

Koreans and Chinese traders are always looking for quick pumps and dumps. These usually happens when the bear market turns into a lull and volume decreased significantly across many markets. The whales look for coins with potential pump and dump characteristics.

It is similiar with another pump and dump coins, making hype when listing and then dump afterward.

People in crypto aren't smart. Whenever they see a coin pump like that they want to get in, not wait for an opportunity to buy lower or avoid it completely. They are gambling with their hard earned money.

I remember when Coinbase listing announcements made coins pump through the roof, but after a while every one of them got dumped well below the price they started pumping at. It's almost a guaranteed way to lose money holding these.

If you know how to trade crypto coins on a very short term basis then go for it, but if you don't have technical understanding, better stay far away from any of these coins. It's not worth the risk.

just a short time , i guess . since price going to dump again, and btw , coinone is not top market , so i guess it cannot be a benchmark that the project is good.
although , when i see they listed on bittrex , its mean the project is really really legal.

I saw the historical data in coinmarketcap,the price was high but unfortunately 19 December its dumped to previous price. Maybe that hyip makes 40% pumps after that STPT recovered to previous price.
