Notifications: Mention/Quote/Merit/Deleted Post

Gumawa na si Darker45 ng guide tungkol sa notification bot ni Piggy pero hindi na ito active sa ngayon. Sayang nga dahil maganda talaga yun lalo na kung interesado ka  talaga sa mga discussions. Pero ayos lang kasi meron ng mga gumawa ng paraan gaya nina giammangiato at LoyceV.

I. Telegram Mention/Quote/Merit Notification by giammangiato

• Search for @Btctalk_meritbot sa telegram
• Click "Start"
• Enter UID for merit notifications > "uid /xxxxx" (gamitin nating halimbawa yung user ID ko "uid /1239188")
• Enter NICK for mention/quote notifications > "nick /xxxxxx" (gamitin nating halimbawa yung username ko "nick /Bttzed03")

Notes:
1. Every 5 minutes ka makakatanggap ng merit notification at every 1 minute naman kapag quote/mention
2. Whether ikaw o ibang user ang nag-quote sa'yo, makakatanggap ka pa din ng notification (fixed here) Hindi ka na makakatanggap ng notif kung na-quote mo sarili mong post.

1. You can ignore as many user as you like but ignore yourself first dahil kung hindi ay makakakuha ka ng notification sa bawat post mo.

3. Para sa "fullquotesorjustlinks" o "order", pwede kayo mamili kung ano mas prefer niyo.
4. Kailangan niyo buksan sa ibang tab yung http://loyce.club/notifications/your userID.html para makita yung mga notifications niyo.



III. Telegram BitcoinTalk Notification BOT (merits, mentions, topics,deleted posts +) by TryNinja

• Contact @BTTSuperNotifier_bot sa telegram
• Select Language - English (may Tagalog na din)
• Enter username and confirm
• Enter user ID and confirm
• Piliin kung gusto mo ma-notify kapag na-mention/quote ka
• Piliin kung gusto mo ma-notify kapag nakatanggap ka ng merit/s
• Para i-enable yung deleted posts notif, punta sa menu > notifications > enable deleted posts

Notes:
1. Pwede mo ma-disable yung mention/quote/merit/deleted post notifications anytime.
2. Pwede mong ialagay yung topics na nasa watchlist mo (just click "show commands", /topic then enter url).

Buti na lang talaga may alternative kay Maggiordomo. I am currently using the one by LoyceV. Okay din but you will have to save the link somewhere accessible para hindi hassle every time gusto mong malaman kung may nag-mention sa 'yo o nagquote sa post mo. Separate tab kasi eh.

Yes, yun nga din. Nasanay kasi tayo sa instant notif kay Maggiordomo thru forum PM or telegram.
You can try telegram notification, mas mabilis siya. Pwede ka naman mag-opt out sa merit notif kung quote/mention notif lang gusto mo.

Wow ang ganda naman ng ginawa ni kabayan buti na lang may mga ganyan para manotify ako kung may nagquote sa mga post lo at nakatanggap ba ako ng merit mula sa ibang user dito sa forum na ito. Itratry ko ito ngayon at sana makatulong ito ng malaki sa akin para makita ko ang dapat kong makita kung may nakaligtaan akong replayan.

Subukan mo silang dalawa. Kahit mawala o kaya naman ay mag-maintenance ang isa eh makakatanggap ka pa din sa kabila. Kagaya ngayon, mukhang down yung kay LoyceV pero nakakakuha pa din ako dahil gumagana yung telegram notif bot.

Am I the only one who noticed that the mention and quote notification by piggy/maggiordomo is not working anymore? Tagal ko ng di nakakareceive ng quote or mention but then there is no notification dito sa account ko sa forum. I just find it strange kasi it gives me an upperhand when it comes engaging in multiple discussion as well as to be informed right after when someone mentioned me.

Thanks for sharing. I just started using this telegram bot 3 days ago and I don't know if this was already mentioned before but, it seems if your post was "quoted", then you get a notification; but then when that poster's response to your post got quoted as well, you'll get another notification and as long as there's someone quoting the same post, you'll get endless notifications, gets 'nyo?  It's kinda annoying especially your original post got quoted by numerous users and down the line, their post is no longer relevant to your post. I hope there will be an option to just limit the notification to just level 1 quote and level 2 onwards, the bot no longer notifies you. Meron na ba nun?

But it is too early to tell whether this project is good or not. The ultimate test is the IEO. This is quite true, we won't know for sure until the bounty ends. Or at least until it reaches its soft cap. But it also doesn't mean thag it will also be good. I've seen tons project after reached the softcap, well, that's all. The coin/token doesn't have value in the market or cannot survive.

I agree. I guess there are several ways to measure the success of a project. If the project is reaching its hard cap that means it is already successful on the first stage. But then the project's operation after the ICO or IEO needs a different measurement of success. You are right that there are so many projects that reached the soft cap but failed to operate the way they should. They are still bad projects. But if the project is not reaching its soft cap but realizes later on its roadmap and product releases then it is still successful.

@julerz12 yes medyo annoying nga yung parati kang na-quote kahit wala ng kinalaman sa point mo. I'm not sure, but I think it was originally set at level 1 or 2 quote but I raised a question few days ago kaya siguro napalitan. Personally I prefer being notified multiple times on certain certain cases but not like what happened to you 

You can ask the bot dev siguro pero I doubt na pwedeng magkakaiba per user.

Para sa mga telegram bot users, paki-update niyo yung data (register ulit) kung hindi kayo nakakakuha ng notifications dahil recent change in database.

What to expect next from the telegram notification bot:

* Merit sender and topic link. As on the Merit page.
* More sentences than quotes. It would be good. 6-7 words are not understandable.
* There is no need for notification when the name is mentioned in the quote in quote.
* You can add Trust notifications weekly. Those who add or remove you trust list. Like this page. Or you can link directly, when the update takes place. Usually @Loycev updates on Tuesdays.
