Promoting cryptocurrency through altcoin

The reason why its not going to be promoted is because people will have doubts to every altcoins out there due to the scams that had happened. Its just too easy for the teams to exit and abandon a project and that investors just have no trust to teams creating altcoins anymore. I hold some altcoins that I thought would become one of the most useful but end up delisted in the exchanges already, the history of this coin will always come up when promoted once again.

When you hear of cryptocurrency what mostly comes in the mind of people is Bitcoin and that's people that are not all to familiar with cryptocurrency.
In as much as Bitcoin controls a high level of cryptocurrency, altcoins are indispensable.

To my little knowledge on cryptocurrency there are altcoins for a lot of uses, some for medical use, some for advertising, some for gaming and so on. With people having interest in this areas to spread cryptocurrency we can take advantage of this opportunity it doesn't have to be all about Bitcoin all the time.
Though the problem with altcoins is the turn out of the coin after wards and the responsiveness of the owners. But if investors or crypto addicts can engage more in altcoins this will boost altcoins and get more organisers active and spread cryptocurrency more

well it's possible to gain more adoption by supporting some popular coin
but by supporting new coin and token is risky because there is a lot of scam in altcoin in bounties and coin/token offering
there is a possibility that those investors will stay from crypto if ever they lose some money

If you mean about the promotion of altcoin then not everyone knows, the first thing you need to do at the beginning is about bitcoin. if someone already knows about bitcoin then it's easy to find out what crypto or other altcoin is.

When we are talking about crypto the main idea is all about bitcoin. Altcoin on crypto is not quite popular unlike bitcoin it is a center of all digital coins. Altcoins are getting bad publicity because of the fraudulent acts that victimized investors. And the bad thing is not just altcoins but the entire crypto industry was severely affected by those bad publicity that's why new potential players or investors are having second thought while investing in cryptocurrency resulting in price dump and market drought for the past 2 years already and because of this promotion is not helping at all, they should address first the scammed problems before planning for another promotions.

The new Altcoin and the old altcoin are currently increasingly not desirable because it is still not good to enter and invest in altcoin other than bitcoin.

i dont agree man, but i could see how the newer users in this scene WOULD agree, as you do.
My view is 90% of those alts your talking about were scams to begin with, most of them are ONLY even still running for fear of being sued for scamming
so they have to atleast give a simbiance of "trying" .   They dont even need to exist, people like you need to realize BTC itself could do all this, smart contracts, all of it.
but people with technical skills are too busy trying to make the next Bitcoin, or just anything to get in the ground level of money making cryptocurrency.  they care of only that sadly
they should have just leant their skills to helping BTC, but they wouldnt get rich that way would they? these people are nocoiners, they got in too late, own maybe 5 btc lol

Absolutely correct, it's like a domino effect so once people have been exposed to Bitcoin then they will surely know about other cryptocurrencies though it will take some years from now and altcoins should have big development like having a real use-case or stopped the scummy project to gain trust from people or investors.
