Wondering if anyone has experience and/or opinions on HashMax (also parent company HashCube), and with any advice too regarding potential pitfalls with mining in China, and mining in general.

This is the first time I'm hearing about them but based on the following reasons, I prefer to not recommend their services to anyone:

  • On HashMax [archived], they mentioned about offering cloud mining services [that's a red flag right there, stay away from such services]:

    WHAT IS HASHMAX?

Hashmax is a platform combining cloud mining and hosting service,
providing a simple solution for cryptocurrency mining. Our major goal is to
offer high quality and cheap service for those who would like to be involved
with cryptocurrency mining or anyone who are interested in cryptocurrency
    investment.

Hashmax is a subsidiary company of Hashcube which has a history of
mining since 2014. Our teams are composed of experts in cryptocurrency
mining, hosting service, handling miners and maintenance.
  • On HashCube [archived], they mentioned it started on 2014 but their website was created on 2016:
    - Take note: Couldn't find a single archived page for both of these websites...

    About HashCube
    Who We Are

Hashcube Was founded in 2014 in Seoul, South Korea and has been expanding both domestically and internationally as a mining company over the past 4 years.
