Will Bitcoin price be $20000 next year?

Just trade bitcoin and make some dollars, bitcoin has been very volatile and keeps giving traders good profit that ones that dare to buy low and wait enough to take profit. We don't know when $20k will happen again but bitcoin remains a good investment.

Many expectations about the halving and that’s the fact bitcoin has been volatile as always. So in my view, there’s a huge possibility to see it at $20k. But, as many said we cannot determined when indeed. The other options is we can accumulate some btc then wait for it to increase to have profit.

Too many people believe in the uptrend market in 2020. So I think it's hard for the market to go up like everyone expected, my thinking BTC will increase slightly in 2020 and will not be like as everyone expected. 20k $ is really too high compared to the current price and it is difficult for BTC to do that, it is best to wait for a cheap altcoin to buy from now

It's still too early to say, we are in the deep market even if we can see this as the possibility of a sudden increase there may be a chance but let's not expect that high so we will not get disappointed when the bull run comes.
Even the halving is here, we cannot guarantee that next year, $20k will come.

Bitcoin pump in the price might not materialize immediately after halving come 2020 it might happen many months after,  the charting analysis above has painted the picture of the possible outcome based on the fact that price history repeats itself thus the best bet is to but and hodl or accumulate more and for price action of Bitcoin to unfold.

Well, it was a year after then. Looking back upon the two halving, it was a year after then when bull run starts to came up. You cannot literally say that when halving occur then price would happen to increase the same time though.  Let us assume that may be in 2021? Or probably later on, well, I am no analyst but I am trying to be more realistic man.

Halving is a few months away, and looking back, end-of-year always posts awful price action and lame market movement, so I won't go so far into expecting anything good happening before 2020. After the halving is what's really interesting considering that we're in the greens for most of the halvings over the course of 10 years, and it will be no surprise if we get a small bullish movement after the halving.

i can not imagine when people buying a lot of bitcoin now , sell everything they have now to take this chance but after halving occured , the price of bitcoin plunged down to -50‰ or worse.

sell it immediately? wait for a month or two then if the price still did not move, sell it anyway?
think for the worst scheme before making any investment eventhough you know that there is a big chance , therr is always an unexpected thing to be anticipated.

Prices will certainly increase before halving, but I won't expect too much. $ 10,000 is my goal for BTC until May 2020, a lot of people hope BTC will increase to 20k or even 50k. That is really absurd and impossible, pretty sure they are holders from 2017 to the present

Let's see the historical data:
- First halving, on November 2012 : Bitcoin increased from $11 to $1,100 in 2013 (one year later)
- Second halving, on July 2016 : Bitcoin increased from $600 to $20,000 in 2017 (one year later)
- Third halving, on May 2020 : Bitcoin increased from $6,000-$8,000 to $??? in 2021 (one year later)

Based on historical data, the maximum rate of BTC in 2021 (not in 2020) should be more than $20,000 (ATH in the second halving).
However, there is no guarantee, mate.

Awesome chart. I’ve tried to convey this same information but the chart does a better job than explaining in words. I think there is a correlation between huge price increases and the halving, but it’s gradual at first as the graph shows.

I won't expect if it would increase before the halving but I don't think $10,000 is close to the price range before halving. I see 2020 as 2019 and I think the price of Bitcoin in Q1 2020 will be lower than $5,000. Although this is just my own speculation but who knows maybe it will grow even more surpassing the $10,000 price range that we expected.

^ It is well said bud,  a good explanation to them, it is still unpredictable but if you have you have a technical analyzation like this. Just kinda good and probably you will get the right answer. This is only technical analysis and we don't have any assurance that it will happen. We should extend our patience and wait at that right time. Nobody can tell when the Bitcoin price will pump up and let us wait for that and only the time can reveal the truth. I have 80% feel that after this halving happened Bitcoin will pump up just like before, that was my own.

The halving is not here. Previously big pumps were happening after halvings so if you're looking at historic patterns you should get your money ready for Autumn/Winter 2020.
As for your question let's break it in 2:
Will the price pump to 20k? Sure! I'm 90% sure that it will.
Next year? Hard to say. Historical growth will point us to 8-9k next year. This can make us pump higher but shorters will be waiting for that. The market is being manipulated to keep the price low so I wouldn't get my hopes up for anything above 10k.

Next stop would be $50K,so forget that $20K and the halving is expected to bring such kind of bullish trend hopefully in 2020 or in 2021.

But no one actually knows when it will happen.

Bitcoin bull run will possibly rush on 2021 which the possibility if the timeline will the guide, it could start by Q3 of 2020, that a long wait for someone who had been praying for Santa to come this Xmas. But I would really be thinking about more than $20k as well.  It just can't happen from pump after pump because a lot will get rich there has to be dumps too just like how it went from $6600 to $7200 last week.  If it doesn't happen by next year, I guess we are all going to be disappointed again by our expectation.

Yes the price will definitely see an increase before the halving and continue after the halving. I expect the price to reach $50,000 sometime next year.

That happened to me in 2017 of December but now I dont want for it to ever happen again in just a blink.

You can see halving trips before, bitcoin doesn't go up in the year that halving happened at that time but it will happen the next year in 2021. But I only look at history, but of course, I hope it can go faster in 2020.

I think the halving is not yet on effect. Look at how the prices moves in the market today. It still struggling to make a run despite of the good news we have in cryptocurrency world because of btc halving. The rise that we expected might not come until next year. It might come on the 2021 after the halving.
