I've always been interested in this question, but I found a lot of confusing information. I recently came across this article in Quora, and I wonder how accurate and verified this information is: https://www.quora.com/Who-holds-the-most-bitcoinsAccording to this article, it seems that Satoshi holds the most bitcoins, between 600,000 and 1,600,000 BTC. The following are the Winklevoss brothers, with 91,666 bitcoin. Next is Barry Silbert with 48,000 BTC. Next in order are Tim Draper with $250,000 worth of BTC and Michael Novogratz with his crypto net worth to be around $700 million – $1 billion. Do you agree with this assessment from the article or do you have more credible and accurate information? wow huge numbers!!!

There are many billionaires and millionaires in the world and probably most of them are aware about Bitcoin in present time this is a big deal for a middle class person to buy huge amount of Bitcoins so we can only estimate that those rich peoples who are aware about Bitcoin holds the large amount of Bitcoins and nobody can track them because of decentralise structure of Bitcoin so I guess it's impossible to find that person who holds most Bitcoins.

Now this is a pretty interesting question because chances are that there are people who hold a lot of Bitcoins but in lots of different addresses maybe thousands which are really difficult to be traced as these just feel like normal addresses. Because if they were in just one single big address they can easily be captured. Moreover anyone can claim that they hold this much amount there is nothing you can do to make them verify the same thing. They aren't going to give you a signed message from each address proving the same.

Many of the coins on the exchange don't belong to them. hypothetically not at all coins , i mean , did u believe all of that coins is really users coins ? since many many exchange have their own coins , such as binance with BNB , and people buy that BNB using BTC, since i am quite sure not all BNB on market is from users.

Agree! Even exchanges often have a lot of fake coin.

I'm looking for a reason for the instability of the bitcoin price. Whoever has the most bitcoins, I think, can manage price movements. However, other transactions can be made with futures transactions. I don't care who owns the bitcoin. Those prices need to go up again.

I think the creator of Bitcoin has the most Bitcoin in his wallet, and as we know, the creator of Bitcoin is Satoshi.

I think, this is very difficult to determine. Knowing the person with the highest number of Bitcoin in my own opinion, is impossible. At least at this stage.

It is not necessary to let go of the numbers and information, I also think that the idea that Satoshi holds from 600-1600 is a very broad term, and it makes a big difference in every bitcoin. In addition, this information is quite accurate, and I have heard almost the same information. But such and similar information is useless unless the exact state is known, because with bitcoin we cannot be approximate because it is huge money.

I think the creator of Bitcoin has the most Bitcoin in his wallet, and as we know, the creator of Bitcoin is Satoshi. I think no one can say, "who holds the most bitcoins". Because we don’t know his hidden bitcoin address. It is an impossible matter.

I think the creator of Bitcoin has the most Bitcoin in his wallet, and as we know, the creator of Bitcoin is Satoshi. He had the most bitcoin if he did not forget her private key. I think he said it in here or someone wrote it that satoshi lost his private key. but I don't think about that now, because we know that had the most of bitcoin will not appear and no one knows who he is. maybe his a business man or ordinary man that trading her money and cycle it with bitcoin. no one knows. but I think he is the one or he can manipulate bitcoin price if he want it.

It seems to me that none of the followers can reveal exactly how many bitcoins he has in his cryptocurrency portfolio. This information is sometimes confidential.

~snip~ It is for their own security, if they don't want to disclose how much Bitcoin they are holding at then it is their choice and we cannot force them to tell it and they are not oblige to tell those information to us too, so I don't see anything wrong for that, whether they are lying or not, it doesn't matter at all, what we should matter is what we are holding on our own.
Yes, I agree with all of you for mutual security, all we need is just how much data they have and we can analyze it ourselves, of course the more we have can help us somehow in development bitcoin or even about market manipulation and other things but sometimes they are more comfortable not to reveal it ...

Yup, because it is on their privacy and sometimes there are no proofs that they hold a little amount only but the truth is they hold much more than that. In this world we can believe in what they are saying because they didn't actually spread their identity for their own sake.

When we do talk about single identity on whose holding much number of btc then we cant really have that precise list yet we wont know if there are more who holds more than to those people being mentioned but; When we do talk about wallets that do hold of the most number of coins then i would check out this list https://bitinfocharts.com/top-100-richest-bitcoin-addresses.htmlmost of them are exchange wallets which can be considered out on holding huge lumps of coins . heheh

This proves that if used correctly, Bitcoin still is pretty much anonymous (OK, pseudo-anonymous). Clearly some may track down some of the funds to certain persons, but clearly that's far from accurate and clearly they will not tell us all their findings and traceable links for that. I guess that nobody can tell you 100% if those numbers or the top "owners" are correctly pinpointed. Who can tell that, CZ, for example, didn't make it yet to top 10? Is that even accessible? Bitcoin is vast and so are the holders, so it will be practically impossible knowing the highest holder of btc
No, such info is not 100% certain, there are speculations and suppositions. If somebody has 1000 smaller wallets (well, not that small, actually), it may be much richer than we think and may stay nicely away of such lists.
