I assume volatility hurts many of us here, just recently I moved from bitcoin to another coin for example and that coin didn't skyrocketed like all the other coins, it is in a better situation right now then it was when I moved so I am technically in "profit" right now but that doesn't change the fact that I could have been in a bigger profit if I stayed in bitcoin, or moved to another coin that went up even higher.

People only look at their profits and losses but reality is you also have the "missed profits" thing that nobody cares about and that is the biggest loss of them all. As more money starts to come into the market, more people will start investing in some of the smaller coins. So, they're probably going to return to doing well again at some point. What exactly makes you so sure this won't be the case in the future as well? Maybe those .000001 drops you get from faucets now could be worth something in 10 years? Also, the market has a lot to do with this. It's a lot easier to profit on a trade whenever you're in a bull market and the price is going up. You basically just hold as long as you want during these markets. Can't really screw it up.  There's a lot less room for mistakes during a bear market. Hold too long and you could be screwed.

I do not really use my time to try to get money from faucets but those that do complain that now it is impossible to withdraw the money that they had accumulated from faucets and that those faucets ask from them to deposit some bitcoin in their account so it seems that faucets have become scams as well, the only way in which the story could repeat itself is if you could find a faucet that give you altcoins and then that altcoin went up in value in a very significant way and you sold those coins for a very high price.

Looking here in the past few days people have been talking about how its not that hard to make money from the crypto world and how in 2019 we had a great bull run as well (even bigger than current one) and we could have made money, that is not the reality for people who also bought in during the bull run and lost money, so do not consider yourself lucky just yet.

Nowadays the market is not decreasing more often but it is increasing more often if you observe it well. In this market the day trade is easy but sometimes some unexpected situations take place that may make you face a little hard time which is not an issue for the expert traders, they can even earn the profit in a time when the market is more often decreasing and the factor is that they do trade with the fluctuations, as we know if the price is decreasing or increasing it happens in fluctuations and if you know to trade in fluctuations then you can do trade in both these situations.
