Hello community; in 2019 maybe we have a mixed feeling….. As you know, we started this year near about 3K then (almost) 14K gradually and now the price is just above 7k! Personally, I am not sad on the current price. On the other hand, really excited to see the response of the retail as well as institutional players on 2020 Halving year!

My expectation is that people will continue to post price speculation topics outside of the Speculation board, where they would be much better suited.   

In fact, there's already a topic about the halving here, so perhaps consider locking this topic and using that one instead.

My expectations is bitcoin will have more volitile price and bitcoin price will posible dump to 5,000$ to 5,500$.  Becuase of the fuds that i th i think will spread next your to force some newbie ans weak hands to sell all thier hold bitcoins..

So that big investors or so called will have tha chance to buy chepear price of bitcoins.

Well what I know is halving was supposed to increase the price but at the end we could really see nothing major when it happened and the price actually decreased , first I had huge expectations but now I don't think it would be that affective .
It would just be a normal event in which instead of going up it can even go down quickly therefore I won't say anything just yet , let's see what happens.

All their expectations and all their calculations are beyond our expectation, the sharks is always trying to capture the market, and you think you know what they expect? I wish that's what will happen to, during and after the halving. I mean a lot of people are expecting a good bump of bitcoin's price after it, so we just need to patient and see what's gonna happen at that time. Because, as we know the demand of bitcoin will increase and that will influence the price, so it will increase too.

No more expectations as it always leads to disappointment and moreover we just need to make moves based on current market situation to secure for future instead of expecting because we never know when the market can be manipulated and all our expectations might ruin since there are so many whales eagerly waiting to make use of momentum for their gain.

I don't expect much this coming 2020 even if there's a halving because i know halving won't have a major effect in the market this year. I am expecting more in 2021 instead about of the halving if how much would be the cost of bitcoin during that time when a bull market starts to set.

My expectations is not so high.I think price will be stable in 15-16K. Like now price is stable in 6.8k$ to 7.2K$.I am expecting that altcoins will go up.

The only expectation that i have this halving in the upcoming year of 2020 is that bitcoin will have a big pump that all of our losses will gain back, that is why i don't sell my bitcoins until it reaches it's price up to 20k USD again. But i am also expecting that bitcoin will increase it's price much higher to 20 k.

The entire Bitcoin ecosystem and its market  can't be really be predicted considering the patterns at which the market value of Bitcoin has changed throughout the ten years of its existence. Its always better to keep and have an open mind for 2020. There are a lot of  possible  for the year 2020.

In fact bitcoin price this year was not that high compare to what it is before.  There is a big dump happen and I get sad on the first place because my balance in my wallet fall as well.  But now I also see it as an opportunity for this coming 2020. I expect that this year bitcoin will rise again as it happened last year.

As like everyone expect steven i want bacon to reach some decent value in the marketplace. India future Bitcoin price will fluctuate at the same time some days price will grow to certain level.
Acid trip to user we need to utilise the situation and we can buy the Bitcoins when Bitcoin price is low and sells it when it goes high.

Big dump? You really have no clue what you are talking about...

The price just went up after many investors moved to another exchange, get informed first then discuss properly on the topic.


As for me i do know expectations will be higher than ever since halving will become even shorter from previous one therefore price will increase by sum valuable amount as available coins will drop even more.
Making the transactions more slower due to higher demand over requests.

My expectations is also everyone's expectation on 2020 halving year is bitcoin will finally increased it's price or reach it's price again up to $20,000 for us to recover all of our losses in the year of 2018. I also think that if bitcoin increased it's price again, there is a possibility that altcoins will increase it's price too, so it will be a great gift for everyone of us.

To be honest expecting the price to double within that short period of time (halving) is quite big expectation actually. we're struggling even to break past $10k and that automatically makes 15K even harder as of now even people are not expecting that much from this halving event anyway because it doesnt have significant change to bitcoin except the block reward.

My expectation is more of the same. There may be a return to low-mid five figures at some point but nothing too dramatic. I think it'll end the year pretty respectably and only start flexing some muscle well into 2021.
