I would not expecting high next year. Even though on the paper this year's price is not good as well but like you said that the price is actually better than Q1 2019 so if we are looking at the market's graph and predict next year price so I think it would be good as well and its peak would be at halving day.

of course my hope in 2020 is that bitcoin can pump after being reduced by half. and reach the price of $ 20,000
but if we look at the history of bitcoin in the past years. bitcoin will only pump up a year after halving. meaning bitcoin will pump high by 2021 so I think we have to wait even longer.
and we also have to be ready if by 2021 bitcoin doesn't pump as we wish. because bitcoin is not necessarily all the possibilities can occur in bitcoin.

I expected the bull market would happen in the next year because bitcoin will have the halving moment, which can trigger bitcoin price to the high price. I think if that happens, the altcoin will adjust the price to the new price, and at that moment, I think we will see another bull market as what we saw in 2017 ago. So we should prepare from now on, and we still have time to do that, while we can buy more coins at the market at a low price.

Halving made people have high expectation about it or maybe think price can be pumped. I think it can really happen if there are no problem comes with bitcoin. With a lot of people expect that bitcoin reach it's peak again on next halving, sometime make other really confident to hold bitcoin longer.

I think After the holidays and finally the Chinese new year, we will see a little pump, I doubt anything really significant, maybe similar to the highs we saw this year of around 15k because all the whales will want to make their profits once they dump it to around 5k which I think is coming very soon over the next 2 months holiday period. For most Bitcoin whales a x 2 or x 3 gain is all they need because they will then short it again on the Leverage futures sites, as they always do. They will never let it pump hugely like it did end of 2017. So only expect a double or triple gain, then another big dump down again, so load up at 5-6k sell at 12-15k, rinse and repeat. This will be the cycle coming for the next few years I think until we have some major upscale infrastructure laid out and bigger mass adoption. There are still so many people not aware of Bitcoin yet or not using it. What we need to do is tell more friends and family. I am now teaching my sister and my son to own Bitcoin and open wallets, so that's another 2 people in the fold.

I expect another pump, and quite possibly high enough to be comparable to that on 2017. I say so because there is quite evident true adoption on the market, and several news pop up stating various cryptocurrency adoption. And while it doesn't really pertain to Bitcoin specifically, it might still drive the prices up once these crypto-projects by various countries come to public, in time with the halving.

My expectation isn't too high like what I expect way back from the first halving. I expect back then that bitcoins price will immediately double and I was wrong. Year 2020s pump I'm just expecting a slight pump on bitcoins price in the later months after the halving and huge dump before the halving happen. Maybe be back at around 10-13k?

Hello community; in 2019 maybe we have a mixed feeling….. As you know, we started this year near about 3K then (almost) 14K gradually and now the price is just above 7k! Personally, I am not sad on the current price. On the other hand, really excited to see the response of the retail as well as institutional players on 2020 Halving year!

In fact bitcoin price this year was not that high compare to what it is before.  There is a big dump happen and I get sad on the first place because my balance in my wallet fall as well.  But now I also see it as an opportunity for this coming 2020. I expect that this year bitcoin will rise again as it happened last year. 

I guess, you bought around 13K maybe; but overall it’s not a bad year at all; till now we are more than double based on yearly starting price (of 2019).

because they are hungry for the bull run   . few years have past and cryptos still didnt meet thier requirements so they still keep on believing that someday thier wish will come true  . disapointment is thier but not to the point that they will rebel and sell what they have just because they are disapointed because that will only make it worst  .  i dont believe that halving 2020 can give a bull run because my hopes were already tested before and it did failed me  . now im contented whatever the price will end up

Although its hard to resist not to be worried but is it good when the price starts to rally upward and it's also good to buy when people starts to dump because the price will decrease. no one can analyze correctly what about the situation in 2020 for the crypto state. because all what the analyst has done is not right and leads in the wrong direction. the most important thing right now is not to quickly carry out any transaction or action without proper analysis and there is no need to panic in responding to what happened because it will harm themselves. I hope that there will be a change in 2020 and it is true that your words should not be carried with emotion in response to the current situation.

Either way is a good opportunity. Although its hard to resist not to be worried but is it good when the price starts to rally upward and it's also good to buy when people starts to dump because the price will decrease. Its really hard to control your emotion while watching the market rise and fall.

The market is full of a test, it tests us how strong we believe in it and also how prepared we are. For many cases that investors had quit because they are out from their control, they are affected so much from a constant market change that they aren't able to understand it.

It is to believe and I think that the market will show the same as what we have now. We can't assure that halving will have a huge impact but we all are thinking for a positive response just like what happens in the previous halving. Though we are not able to see Bullrun again but looking at the current market price, I believe that Bitcoin is still healthy.

This is so true. This is the reason why I'm turning my back for most months of 2020 because everyone expects the same thing and this could be the advantage of whales because they have an idea what everyone is expecting for that year. And the same scenario in 2017 to 2018 might happen, from all time high to all time low.

Speaking of expectations, I hope that in that year I will have more than 1 bitcoin and 10 ethereum. when I had that, the price of bitcoin rose above $ 20k, and ethereum went back up to $ 1k. it's just that looking at the current situation, it seems difficult to achieve that expectation, even more so if at this time I don't have 1 bitcoin yet. however, I expect the best.

Many people expect that the price of bitcoin will increase if the halving successfully happen in 2020. One thing that we all are ignoring here is the fact that the exchange rates have already increased by around 150% since April this year. Most of the increase could be attributed to the emergence of the Libra project, but the anticipation of the block reward halving also played a major part. Therefore my prediction is that any spike from the block reward halving will be more moderate, as a part of the bull run has already occurred.

I dont have any expectation for halving next year but I do hope the price will somehow change positively as many are predicting that halving can make the price increase like what happened in the past.

Whatever happens next year lets remain bullish and accept the outcome since no one can accurately predict the market situation after the halving.
