Eth is following the movement of btc and it seems there's no good news that can make the price increase for now until the launching of eth 2.0 but we are not certain how can this upgrade affect eth positively.

   This will not be the first time in crypto-market for us to see some huge dumping from just couple addresses. It's interesting
for all of us when someone moves hundreds of millions in just couple times in or out from an exchange. Many traders use this
transfers as signals for their next trades.
   Dumping huge amounts will affect the market, it always does. In the past those dumps were just temporary, after some time
same traders buy at discount and have profit from them. It's manipulation with the market and we can't do nothing about that.

Despite the overall sentiment seemingly very grim, I doubt that this bear market will be longlasting at least anywhere near what you'd expect. Prices already slipped more than 80-90% from the past ATH and with the halving coming up, I don't think that it's rational to expect another 50% loss in price.

Either way though, ETH is something that long term I still believe in. They're still the groundwork of the majority of ICOs.

Agree. Investing in ETH can make you a lot of risks because the current market is very volatile and ETH can completely return to $70 at any time. Currently, you only invest in Bitcoin or hold USDT to look for more opportunities because this market still has many other good coins for you to choose.

maybe I didn't see that it would happen with ethereum as you said. ethereum will remain stable at current prices, ethereum will not plunge to below $ 100. that it is expected that good developments in the next year with ethereum are expected by many people, seeing the development of 2 years ago, when starting the new year ethereum is actually quite powerful. whether 2020 will be a similar era of revival, we will just have to wait for it.

Could possibly happen if you expect markets to continue to slip overall, but I think that ETH will actually perform relatively well in terms of holding up in this bearish sentimented market compared to other coins like EOS and smaller cap coins because it has some institutional background.

So yes, $70 is possible, but not likely imo.

Especially when you consider that we're on the verge of recovery already. Tough to see how it can lose another 50%.

what is your predicts about ETH market ? what you think about future?

how i wish it will happen mate,but i know this will never happen
because Ethereum will go along with bitcoin when bull comes next year.
and also Vitalik is cooking something for another progress of ethereum.
though i dont care what will happens next,if the price dump?then i will use

We all know that $70 for ETH is entirely possible. However I don't think it will happen. The whole market is moving together, and we bounced back very strongly when lower support was tested recently. Given that ETH is also moving towards PoS with 2.0, I would think we are more likely to see an increase in price. Will we see the ATH again that we had at the peak of ICO-fever, when everything ran on ETH and every new project hit hardcap? Difficult to say, but I would argue yes, because smart contracts (with ETH still leading the way) have huge huge potential.

I dont think ETH will be back to 70$ unless all ETH developer left. We all know ETH going to release version 2.0 with lots of change in their product with allow people to stake and many new features. I think with these change, ETH will be very potential to grow over its last ATH. Anyway, before invest anything you should start research and have some believe in that project.

Although ETH will have many updates in 2020 but with those updates there is no guarantee that the price of ETH will increase, this market is now not affected by the same news as before. In 2020 I believe that the price of ETH will fall below 100$ and the price of 70$ is entirely possible for ETH

That's true. but just forget about the price point below $100 as it will never be reached by ethereum . yesterday, ethereum gets at least 6% increase and that's more than enough to bring back the price of ethereum again to the $140.
The next resistance should be on $150.
What we can hope to see bitcoin will be getting another FOMO again this year. It looks like that people are still feeling good about the progress of bitcoin in the future.
Bitcoin is impossible to go down to the new all time bottom again.
