the problem in current situation is "real implementation blockchain" , some programer says decentralization will be main focus at all next project, but right now we see, blockchain implementation very slowly, some biggest company implementation it like IBM, but they are not give any impact in bitcoin. It is a clear picture on what happens after halving and that is what is expected this time too, implementation of blockchain will not aide the price of bitcoin in any way, if these things should aide bitcoin then there must be something created on top of the bitcoin blockchain that will have a meaningful change in the process, if not it will not have any affect in the market valuation but halving is a monster in itself as your picture clearly shows the new issuance rate. |

Right now there is so much speculating around the coin halving that is coming in mid of next year. If you are looking for bitcoin ATH next next year then chances are it may be another bearish year. There will be many more opportunities in coming year that will give you good opportunities to book profit.

Not really but I was thinking that it looks different from what we have experienced this year.
It was just optimistic thinking that we end up the bearish this year cause it seems to be impossible as it clear to see that the market is haven't yet huge support. May halving could change but can't think that it abrupt change the trends, it surely will take months to wait.
Bitcoin halving is too much hyped topic this year that it would make a great fortune this coming 2020 but they aren't aware that the halving effect will take some time to actually make a change in the market. They might think at this point that this price is bearish but if they look at the bottom price they might change their minds. |

It will depend on the flow of the market and i think it will be a good year for the cryprocurrency and there is a possibility that it might rise uo because of the upcoming halving but it would take time and we don't know on what month it will start to give us signal to uptrend.
And we just only need to accumulate and only buy those coin who has potential to increase the price in the future.
Optimistic individuals who believes that halving will bring them a good rise will continue to accumulate and expect that waiting will be fruitful to their investment. There's no assurance but if you follow the track of the market this season still in its accumulation period and most of investors who are observing also taking time to buy from each downfall and try to keep as many as they can till the next halving happened. |

this is good data, and I just realized that. if there is a possibility that the price of bitcoin will rise after halving, then it is certain that it can be several months after halving. but, it looks like the signs will appear before/after halving. bitcoin prices will rise slowly before finally pumping suddenly. it could be another thousand percent increase from the initial price. Well, imagine if it started at $ 7500 or $ 8,000, then thousands of percent of that would be very high.
if the rules is same like last halving, the bitcoin price must be rising minimum to $100.000  , if the rules still same, but the next problem is transaction fee will be rising too, imagine you have 100.000 sathosi and you must pay 20.000 sathosi ( arround $20) Well, no problem, we can still find other ways to reduce fees by using altcoin. this all just depends on the price, I just hope the price of bitcoin can reach $ 100k in the coming year. for a fee and other issues, we can think about it after that. at the very least, the price hasn't decreased? choose which, prices go up and fees go up, or fees go low but prices go down. |

Everyone has their own judgment about halving that will happen in bitcoin. Mostly expects that bitcoin price will possibly be bearish and possibly be in bull run. So actually I hope for the better growth to reach in bitcoin to take profit. |

Let me say now that if anyone thinks the halving is a magical event that will change everything, you're only setting yourself up for major disappointment. Remember when everyone said Bakkt was gonna be the savior of everything? And when it flopped, the whole market flopped? This will happen with halving in May if we put too much hope in it. |

We all are aware of bitcoin halving and most of the users are discussing about a possible bitcoin pump post halving which might or not not give pump to the value of altcoins. So do you think halving will provide openings for altcoins with a pump or altcoins will continue to be bearish in 2020?
Draw a downtrend log line from $13,900 through $12,300 through $10,300 in weekly time frame. hasn't been broken since we reversed off the 2019 ATH. currently price is about $7,300. If we break above $7,800 that and hold above it, most would consider that a reversal of the bear market. thereby, I think we aren't yet out of the bear market. although I hope it happen in the next couple of weeks or months by appearing a consistent pattern of more buyers than sellers in addition to healthy levels of market liquidity. I do sometimes day trading between altcoins to increase my BTC stack for when the next bull market is in play. |

If Bitcoin follows Litecoin trend after halving, then we could say that Bitcoin will fall into a death spiral and bear market will continue, the situation may be even worse when this happens!

We can not predict how the market in 2020, but i'm surely know that there always few months bearish and few months bullish in each year. So do not try to predict how 2020 will happen, all you have to do is choose a good coins and wait for next bullish time.

Price ups and downs are normal matter in crypto as volatile is the nature of it, and after so many experiences we can not expect only bull run in any year. So, of course, in 2020, there will be a bear season and the bull run too! But I think 2020 gonna be better than in 2018 and 2019! Because there are many things may happen in the new year that can change the whole crypto atmosphere! Bitcoin halving, Facebook's Libra are the main among them!

I really want to be wrong but I believe the next year is going to be bearish as well, it seems that for the majority of the investors the halving has become as a kind of saviour of the market that will correct the price immediately and start a bull market, and markets very rarely have movements like that, even the small bull run that we had during this year started in a very slow manner and it was not until April when it became clear we were seeing a bull market. |

in my opinion if bitcoin goes up, at halving later, altcoin will go up too, so it is very likely that altcoin in 2020 will be bullish as in the previous year when bitcoin was bullish, altcoin will be bullish too
if bitcoin can achieve it then altcoin can pump too, now altcoin is more dependent on bitcoin prices and this is one of the reality. we have to wait for the bitcoin pump first to reach the aim of the altcoin pump next, but I'm sure bitcoin needs a large pump to make the altcoin pump |

It will not be a bearish year and we can take bitcoin halving as the best example for the news that can bring crypto to the bullish trend. the more news will come as in the future there will be official digital currencies from the government and this has much possibility to create a correlation to the cryptocurrency. If some dev able to develop gateway toward it and i believe crypto will always have a bright future for sure. |

Unlikely.
Firstly you got the bitcoin halving coming up, which has historically meant that markets are bullish for at least a year after the event. BTC being bullish will also drag the rest of the market up along with it, analogous to how a rising tide floats all boats.
Then you got the ETH hard fork, which could turn out to be a positive development. It's not guaranteed, but I do think that it could have potential to affect the entire alt market positively.
