((I've attempted to post this question in the Mining section of the forum but it disappeared within a few hours. Not sure what happened. Strange))

Guys,

I'm basically interested to gauge the willingness from members here with an engineering/technical background to "Team-up" and build our own Open Source (free) Bitcoin mining toolchains for both Software & Hardware. Looking at putting together the latest hardware (ASIC or FPGA) along with its verilog hdl. Something everybody can have access too and built upon to ensure the future of Bitcoin mining (or any other crypto for the same matter).

Let me know what's your thoughts about this team-up idea. Let's get is touch!

My suggestion: Create a topic on the Project Development[1] section, and propose the specifics of the project you're planning on making. If there are enough developers here who gets interested in your project, they will help you.

Appreciate the advice and [link-up], @mjglqw.
Ok, good idea, I'll draft something along the lines of how I could see such a community project like this shaping up and post up after xmas.
Lets see if there is any involvement willingness from the tech community side... I sure hope all of us would like something resilient, my hope anyway.
Wish me luck!

Rgs & Merry Christmas to all!
Akira
