All that matters is that it has some tangible value so that Ripple's on-demand liquidity partners can be sure that they're going to get the amount they expect when conducting their transfers.

Anybody who thinks that XRP is a good investment for the long term is an absolute idiot, the cryptocurrency has suffered one of the highest percentage declines this year, and doesn't look set to recover any time soon since it's not designed for public users.

Yes, everything is still focused on bitcoin, XRP is still good to hodl in preparation for alt season because when alt season starts XRP will reach ath again like in the previous year.

people are currently focusing on bitcoin, and it does not mean that altcoin is currently unprofitable but it is not yet time for the season. if the bitcoin market has reached the best price, then altcoin will grow again including xrp which until now I believe has potential in the future and at this time I think xrp is not yet time to show specific movements

Why will whales invest into Ripple when Ripple's team does exactly what whales do as they just control the demand and supply to control the value of XRP and regardless of the investment Ripple will never have a good comeback as the development team just dumps more supply into the market during bull run and moreover users have learnt that XRP is a centralized token and has been worst performer for years.

If there's one thing we should all have learned by now, it's that nothing that ever happens with Ripple the company will affect the price of Ripple the token (XRP).

XRP community is being betrayed, XRP with what it is used in practice, it can't work as bad as what it used to be, I think the main reason is because there are always 1 billion XRP every month. lock from developer and dump into market.

pre-mined coins must be the main reason about why it was getting dumped but we can put our focus into what will be getting by the holders from their ripple coin? they get nothing from their holding while another POS coins are offering annual yield to the holders. I did put very few portions to store xrp.
And I also did not get my hopes up quickly that xrp will be moon. Because basically I prefer to hold longterm.
In my understanding, getting new investment and so much value for xrp does not mean it can also be a stepping stone to raise prices. Right now, only Whale can play the market price.

There is no such thing as better or not when it comes to declining in price All of them having the same situation and there is no wonder xrp will hold its position, it is considered as one of the best coins even though there are some who really hates it.

So it's just another pump and dump coin. I don't have any XRP to be honest because of it being a bankers coin. And we all know that if a coin is centralised, anyone behind the project can control it. No matter how good its supposed to be as utility or investment, if it doesn't have the trust of crypto enthusiast, it can't take off.

Just look at the price, it is way below it's all time high, -90%++ one of the worst performing altcoin in the last 2 years or so.

Sentiment around XRP is not good at all and the team showed a lot of incompetence and arrogance in management last year. I believe people want to punish the team by dumping it if they can. The team had no excuse for the mismanagement and deliberate dump, not even a legal attack or hack as excuse. If the predictions are right with ripple they dont have any good prediction for 2020

I think XRP is not the only one who remains non-outstanding in 2019 because a lot of coins are now dump due to scam projects and decrease of the price of bitcoin, that is why a lot of people decides to hold most of their coins and not to sell it until in increase it's price again, so they could sell it and recover all of their losses.

I think now it makes sense to buy a little bit of ripple. in spite of the fact that this coin is not interesting to anyone as a technology, it will always remain very manipulative until it will die completely and I think that in 2020 we will see several price pumps of this coin and those people who buy it now will be able to make good money
