It's all over the news and they've taken responsibility for this wrongful act. Not all videos were retrieved, it's still on the process though. By the way, we've got many topics already created for this topic like this one and for the others just look over them on the forum.

I have seen a number of news and thread reports on this forum about the removal of crypto videos on YouTube. Maybe it's because of the rampant fraud or ponzi schemes that occur a lot in videos uploaded on YouTube and that makes YouTube furious so delete without notice.
If this is done for a lot of scamer reports, then I'm fine and agree.

The warning on most of the videos and channels in my native language has been removed and there hasn't been any improvement on the ban. I think Youtube has stepped back on this.

Yaps, I agree with your opinion. Any platform must hate scammers, and this must be taken seriously. Google, Facebook, and even YouTube are currently carrying out such acts only for the convenience of users and too many complaints from users due to being caught in a victim of fraud in the scope of crypto. And I think it should filter or not do something sad like this. I've also seen scam project advertisements on YouTube on video content about crypto. And I want to ask, why is the crypto related video deleted by YouTube without clear notice?

We call this hype, we are united to hype this Youtube action, because it harms the community, let's admit it majority of us here are followers of influencers, especially Youtube influencers and it will hurt us if we see videos that we used to watched and recommended are deleted without notification why it was deleted, they are now restoring it and hopefully those who follows guidelines will get their videos restored.

I think youtube did not do that because all we know that bigtime institution like youtube have a huge pride and ego so once they give a decision it is already final and I already checked to search old video about crypto specially about trading it is already deleted on site. So I think it is a fake news.

Yes, they have apologised and started restoring all the videos of content creators for now. The claimed it was an algorithmic error which caused this situation. For now they restored it after an outrage on twitter but, I do not think they will do it in the future. Content creators and viewers of those channels should move out of YouTube.

Not yet done. There were some videos that were restored though. It is nice to hear Youtube apologize for it. For sure there were a lot of people who wondered why their videos were suddenly taken out without prior notice. But I think what happened was not totally an error. There must be a reason for that intentional action. But they realized later on that it was not the right thing to do.

This action was taken by YouTube as a preventive measure so that not many scammers promote their projects so far that victims will not be there anymore. If scamming continues on YouTube as a means, it is certain that YouTube will suffer losses too, especially its prestige. I strongly support this youtube action once because it is to limit the space for the fraudsters. But the impact is even too general. I hope that there will be a YouTube replacement website devoted to the promotion of crypto videos.

I read that there spokeperson said that they admitted their mistakes and will restore everything. But so far, if you go to tweeter world, lots of complains about Youtube and says that there channels or accounts is still block so I don't know who's telling the truth. But I will side with Youtubers here, this supposedly spokeperson has no name, look at their official channel and there are no mention whatsoever. So I guess crypto individuals who uses Youtube as their platform should look for a better blockchain based alternatives.

The worse part here is those who listen to fud easily. Yes YouTube is very famous ground to upload certain crypto related info but some of those are abusing their platform. I just dont know those videos created from a campaign would be considered as violations.

But some videos were restored so I guess this is just a false alarm on their cases. Its also not right to delete unless there are some rules of YouTube has been violated.

do you have a crypto related YouTube channel what kind of videos you share like , crypto promotions or crypto education , there are many education content i dont think that you tube will delete educational content

Not many users' videos got deleted, only a few. Which is very normal, any regular YouTuber knows it that sometimes youtube deletes video mistakenly and they gave those back when they notice! Youtube replied on twitter that the recent crypto video was deleted mistakenly, and which is already fixed. So, relax and support youtube for larger benefits in crypto!

Didn't hear anyone saying that youtube started restoring their video but yeah, I was expecting this to happen. Since no one was notified about their videos getting removed and the reason behind those bans, i guess it was  a faulty algorithm that started flagging those videos by mistake. If that's the case, then yeah YouTube will revert those mistakes.

YouTube admitted they made a mistake thus they started restoring it again, you can find the information about it here:

But it is very unlikely for a banned account to be restored again unless they make an appeal and proven did not violate their TOS.

Some videos are simply violating youtube's newest ToS and are deleted without notice because youtube has the right to do so and is mentioned on their term of service. it's unfortunate indeed but there's nothing we can do.
it's not because of youtube is furious or something but they are trying to enforce their updated rules and TOS as it happen majority of crypto videos which most of them are just promoting something shady being taken down.

Well to bad looks like YouTube are now enforcing what they should have done a log way before. Most of the videos from crypto are quite shady and they dont want to get involve in such mess. We all know how hot cryptocurrency is nowadays and a famous video site like this could be affected and got turn down. Well I hope YouTube is not playing politics here r got paid by someone to create fud.
