VERY Slow Daemon?

Hi

I have a service that can use with DOGE. But daemon is too much slow. For instance when I query "getinfo" I don't get nothing for 1-2 min and it gives
"error: no response from server" .  I can not even stop it.

What can be caused to this? RAM?

Edit: Daemon is in digitalocean 5$ vps.
