[Need] Help me to find Blockchain PhD or researchs

Hello,

Firstly I am a master grade in financial engineering and risk management, I am looking this year of PhD in blockchain technology. but unfortunately, I didn't find any thesis of blockchain in my country this year. So Please I need one of those two things, if you have any information about the solution please help me I don't want to spend this year in anything (+ I also can't find any job in my country even master grade).

1- Any PhD offered in blockchain technology, I can only speak french & English at a medium level. I tried to send my CV and motivation letter to some university, the one answer told me that there is no award and financial support, and It's hard for me.

2. if I can't join any university this year than I should start to specify a topic in blockchain and try to create an article and do independent research in my home until the next year, So I need a good suggestion of the thesis, Like some upgraded needed for blockchain or some use cases.
I like mathematics so it would be great if I can get a thesis in blockchain and mathematics.

I don't know how PhDs work in your country but if you come to the UK and speak with a lecturer / supervisor, you will be given
free hand to work on any subject and do your PhD on anything you want as long as it innovates and adds something particular.

[also it must pass the "ethics approval"]

For example, you may do a research on how to improve the privacy of Bitcoin but this must find a conclusion / solution that has
not been found yet by other people. Just try to contact universities. Keep in mind they are expensive.
