Even in the event that an attacker gains more than 50% of the network's
computational power, only transactions sent by the attacker could be
reversed or double-spent. The network would not be destroyed.

Like Telegram bot BitcoinTalk SuperNotifier V2 by TryNinja. For example, calculating merits with a delay also gives an incorrect result.

~Is it "your turn" to be DDOSsed?
It's offline for me.~
Thanks for the alert, maybe a DDoS, maybe some sort of hung process on the server, I have no way to tell with certainty at this point. I wasn't able to access the site earlier myself, but in this case can only go by the generic 500 error I got from the front-end, which isn't very helpful. My parser had slowed down a bit, but never went offline. Nonetheless, everything seems good at the moment. Question: Is it possible to add a username search function to the extension? *(Inbox/Outbox).
Might be better to post this under the BPIP Extension thread. You probably know this already but there is a search messages function which allows the specification of a username.. I'm not sure how good it is, but just mentioning it in case you were not aware. edit: (and it apparently only works for the inbox, which may be why you are requesting it..) That said, off the top of my head, I'm not thinking there would be any good way to do this through the extension. It would need to go through many pages of your messages (it becomes a local parser with giant resource problems).. and given the size of the contents, would likely need to store your inbox/outbox somewhere (likely locally) to efficiently search it, which is not a great idea IMO (privacy/security issues). edit #2: If the outbox search is the issue, it might not be too difficult of a patch for the SMF 1.1.19 patch wizard to accomplish, since I assume the code for the inbox wouldn't be too hard to shift for searching the outbox within SMF. If only I had the time...!

Thanks for the info [unfortunately, the search in messages does not work as smoothly as we would like]. Ah, I see. I did a few quick tests of usernames which seemed to work for the inbox, but I don't have time to verify if it was actually accurate. If it is a crappy search function already, it might not be as easy of a patch as I alluded to in my last edit, as there could be inherent bugs existing already which would need to be fixed.

Seems the servers are down and can't access the site. Tried multiple browsers and even on different device still same hope its just a temporary. Is there anyone else having the same issue as me? Edit 1: I posted image but can't able see it either so its the issue related due to forum I guess. Edit 2: Now it is working fine.

It's a DNS issue so probably local to you or your internet provider. The error message is kinda weird too, not the typical "Server Not Found". If it happens again you can try something like this (assuming you are able to access other sites): https://dnschecker.org/and see if it finds bpip.org.

Without the DNS lookup succeeding, the browser would have not been able to check the server itself, so some type of DNS error would be more likely in this scenario, but it is an odd DNS error as well. Could be the overall stability of the internet connection from the provider and/or the local (maybe wifi) connection itself in failing to ever reach the DNS server to attempt the lookup. This error may indicate that the DNS connection had been started, but was then interrupted/dropped in the middle of communication (unstable connection). If it continues, another troubleshooting step could be to [temporarily] override the DNS settings on your device(s) and point them to a public DNS server out on the internet, for testing purposes, I typically use 8.8.8.8 (one of Google's DNS servers - note: this may not work in some areas of the world). That might at least tell you if it is the stability of your connection itself, or the actual DNS server trying to do the lookup. At the end of the day, it was probably just a glitch in the matrix and may not ever return. Neo was just trying to get back to the ship.

It is not due to the internet provider because the internet connection is stable and I checked it at that time which is 1Gbps but as I said in my edit it is due to the issue related due to the forum because from 07:32:11 AM to 07:49:11 AM (forum time) no images were shown in the forum when I am going to ask about this in Meta things back online.
I am not sure if it is local cause as I said tried on multiple devices even on mobile the situation was same.

It sounds like you are describing an issue with (at least) 2 different IP's / servers both at the same time, from your machine.. when nobody else seemed to experience an issue. This generally means something was probably going on at your end. BPIP is an entirely different server & site than the forum, and hosted on an entirely different platform, so if you had issues with both at the same time.. something was probably going on with your connection, and/or the primary DNS server you are using. Doesn't necessarily mean the connection was extremely unstable, but no actual speed test (like this one) is going to show "1Gbps" so I'm not sure where you got that result from? edit: I am not sure if it is local cause as I said tried on multiple devices even on mobile the situation was same.
If the mobile device is attached to any local wifi, it will usually try using the local wifi before any data service/3g/4g/5g/etc.

something was probably going on with your connection, and/or the primary DNS server you are using.
If this is the case then it got resolved on its own, I didn't change anything at all. There are usually equipment and/or routers out there detecting & re-routing traffic at various points (hops) on the internet if it detects any packet loss, drops, etc. I've seen many machines which are sporadically dropping packets for various reasons (usually internal network issues), but can still browse the internet and not see too many issues (outside of general sluggishness at times), but their connection is definitely degraded in the situation. Doesn't necessarily mean the connection was extremely unstable, but no actual speed test (like this one) is going to show "1Gbps" so I'm not sure where you got that result from? I used the Ookla speed test on mobile at the time of having this issue and the result was around 900 at that time Do you know if the "packet loss" counter at the bottom said anything during the time of the issues? Also, if I'm reading the info correctly on your screenshot (I don't use this speed test much), but the current test you show has a higher than usual ping & jitter range (pings going from 28 to 537 and hitting over 3110ms on the upload, and jitter values between 73-100..). Some wild swings there, so I might see this connection as being unstable. Are you running all of your devices from some sort of 5g wifi tower type of device, which provides an internet connection through 5g or some sort of wireless cell service? If you are using a local router into some local service provider (who may providing internet service through fiber/copper/land lines/coax/microwaves/etc.), and this device you were testing with was using the wifi connection from that service, then you (or your ISP) likely have an issue somewhere locally that you might be able to improve these numbers with. Your screenshot shows a decent speed average, but as mentioned it's not the most stable numbers in terms of ping/jitter. I can't say it's the worst I've seen, as a high packet loss % would be worse, but I could definitely see this connection having on/off again issues with drops/packet loss based on the pings/jitter I'm seeing in your current screenshot.

AFAIK, no one else seems to have that problem other than me so it is convincing that something on my end happened at that time but not sure what it was but it was resolved so it is good. Do you know if the "packet loss" counter at the bottom said anything during the time of the issues?

I am sure that packet loss was 0.0% every time which I used the test. It's a fiber connection that has pretty good speed and is economical too but I don't have any idea about the high ping factor but it used to be in this way.

It's a fiber connection that has pretty good speed and is economical too but I don't have any idea about the high ping factor but it used to be in this way. It's normal for ping to go up when you max out your upload. 537ms - 3110ms seems far from normal for a fiber connection. And a jitter showing 70 / 100, for a fiber connection, seems too high to be considered stable. The line on the upstream doesn't look max'd out to me, but unstable.. maybe a wifi router performance issue of some sort, maybe something further down the line. I'd want to connect a device directly into an ethernet port of the router, and run a speed test from that, to see what the differences are between that and the mobile/wireless connection are... to eliminate many of the wireless issues that could be happening. A lot of providers will cap the upstream, but the line shouldn't really be bouncing up and down like that on the speed test. Here is what a stable fiber connection looks like from a mobile device connected to a cheap wifi router.

I remember Dial-up Internet with better performance. (Yap, I am too old) About Findingnemo problem, at the time when he complained about limited access to the BPIP service, I accidentally used the same one for a long period. I did some research. At no time did I have any downtime or unavailability of the BPP website.
