Bitcoin price in January 2020 will touch 10k, What do you think?

It went up to $8.4k recently, now that is two times price is trying to go up, I am not saying it will definitely break $10k but as you can see from the movements there are two parties involved in this fight. One side wants bitcoin to go over 10k for sure and they are trying their best to increase the price, evident from the twice over $8k now and that is something very nice for us that wants to profit with our investment, the other side sells their coins to keep it low for god knows what reason (maybe they shorted?).

So, whoever ends up winning this fight the other one will stop and as soon as that side stops price will do a big move. If the side that loses or at least gives up is the one that sells, then buyers will take the price of bitcoin over $10k very very easily.

Well, the price increase that made some speculations made sense, in fact, I felt that reaching the price of $ 10k at the end of this month was quite easy. it's just that, after the price increase that occurred, there is currently an adjustment phase, so the price drops slightly due to the usual fluctuations. I think, in a few days, the price of bitcoin will go up again, and it is possible that the price could reach $ 9k or more.

I think that will not happen. At the moment price is not so far from 10000$ and Bitcoin has shown a significant rise this month but I expect further corrections to happen. Although situation in the market tends to be optimistic I don't think that Bitcoin will cross 9000$ this month, this might be the max value that we will see this month.

As I am writing this the price is now above 9000 and if the price closes above that price then most likely we are still going to continue to see some positive movement for bitcoin, quite honestly I do not understand why bitcoin is moving like this, nothing important has happened and the halving is still months away but for some reason people are very optimistic about the price and if that is the case then you need to take advantage of it and try to make some money with the movements of the market.

Bitcoin only needs another $ 900 in 12 days to reach 10,000 in January, and nothing is impossible for bitcoin because 12 days is not a short time for bitcoin to increase again because of what we have seen in the last few days of the bitcoin movement from early January tends to increase gradually and although there is a small amount of decline several times but will increase again from the previous price.

Well these threads keep coming up because people like you and me keep on answering lol. Though i think it can really be helpful for beginners seeing a variety of opinions regarding topics like these. Those of us who have experience can share what we know a few times over if we have the for it. I think it's repetitive yes, but there are tidbits that newbies can pick up every now and then when a thread like this comes up.

This is more likely to happen if and only if, there will be  a continuous direction with regards to the uprise of the market value of Bitcoin and other cryptos. Bitcoin's price reaching such mark would be possible but not in a short period of time as what OP have expected. Things could still go wrong given that the market is naturally volatile. Hopes are still intact since we still have many days left before the January ends but we should not get upset if it didn't touch for $10k for this month since there are other month will came and maybe January is test for waters for the other investors who fear for the past bear market and accumulation period is just starting up these days. We should remember that price still unpredictable and we should play positively according on what is the current event going on.

After another negative day the price of bitcoin is trading below 8400 it may not seem as if the price of 10k is that far away but it is, the bears are not going to let the bulls to take over the market that easily and surpass 9k, and even worse the level of 10k is critical, it is a huge sign that basically tells the market that we are in a bull run and it is going to take a lot of time before we surpass it especially if people are expecting this to happen before the halving.

I agree with you, even I rather doubt the price of bitcoin can reach the price of $ 9000 at the end of this month. but, the current development is very good, even the increase is more than $ 1000 in less than 1 month. because of seeing this, I think that bitcoin can be achieved in the following month, I also look forward to it.

You are very right about the adoption. Compared to 6 years ago, so many people I know are already (sometimes just in tiny portions) invested into crypto and it really amazes me. Many don't even have a normal broker account, they just made the leap to crypto currencies as a tool of investment. And the price is just a number dictated by the whales. Can't do much about it as a small fish.

And then just a few days later the price has surged very quickly, while this may seem like good news at the same time it worries me, the price is moving up too fast and the last time this happened we saw an important crash and if this were to happen again when we are so close to the halving this may change the dynamic of the market so much that we could see another low, I hope it does not happen but the possibility is still in play and we cannot ignore it.
