seed problem. Can not create new wallet Electron or restore wallet

Next button is "not active" because the SEED isn't valid. There may be a typo or it was from a non-2FA wallet.

What was the result shown in the "Seed Type: ?"
Was your seed created using Electrum?

If you're 100% positive that it was from an Electrum 2FA wallet, then you might have entered a wrong word or two.
If it's from a standard wallet, use the options "Standard Wallet->I already have a seed".

Are you sure you have downloaded the wallet from- https://electrum.org/#download

If you are using a phishing version, your seed has likely been compromised.

If you have downloaded from the official website & were able to verify the wallet, you are fine.

This only occurs if the seed is invalid, or you a using a NON 2FA seed. This is what you'll see if invalid seed:

Do you see "seed type"? or is it blank? If blank, then the seed you have is invalid. Most likely, you have a "similar" word, like kid, kit, kite etc.

Do you mean you are also trying:

"File -> Create/Restore -> Standard Wallet -> Create a New Seed"

and after copying seed and then re-entering to check you have copied OK, that that isn't working as well?

Anyone can set it to any language in the "general" tab of the preferences.
Maybe it used your PC's locale settings.

What's the language of your (mnemonic) seed?
AFAIK, it wasn't case-sensitive and double spaces/enter should be valid as a "separator" as well.
So the problem must be your keyboard's input.

Try copy-paste instead of manual typing:

• Create a new seed using "New/Restore", select Standard wallet-> create a new seed, select Legacy or SegWit.
• Copy (Ctrl+C) and paste (Ctrl+V) the seed to a (temporary) new text file.
• Then Copy the seed from the text file to the "next" window because for some reason it wont let you copy from the previous window.
• That should work since it's the exact copy of a valid seed; if it didn't, there something wrong with your downloaded Electrum

Note: if this worked, your seed written in paper wont be a reliable backup since you can't manually input it as a valid seed.
Try to change the language to English first.

try using electrum on a different device. if you have an android phone and it is not rooted then you can install electrum on that via the play store and attempt a restore there. this should rule out any hardware problems on your PC.

Electrum works just fine, there is a problem with your seed somewhere.

You mean these two are different tries? Yes?

So for the first one, use "Standard wallet->I already have a seed" and you'll need to click "Options" then check "BIP39 Seed" for the next button to be clickable.
But it depends on the format of that seed from "another wallet" if you'll able to restore the correct addresses, what wallet was it?

For the latter, Electrum doesn't have a "registration", just follow the guides above to be able to create a new wallet, do not follow any video guides as most of them are likely scam.

If nothing else works you can just create a new Electrum wallet, request a new address and send the full amount from the original wallet that you used with that seed. What wallet did you initially use when you got that seed and what is wrong with it now?
Are you able to restore your wallet in the same software with the seed you have?
If not, there must be a mistake somewhere in the seed.
