Altcoins market not performing well since Bitcoin price was slipped from its peak value. This 2 years I never seen any good done positive sides from the altcoins marketplace.
We never know any good cryptocurrency exist after Bitcoin and ethereum.
Most of the founders are very much greedy to bone their business alone without the public concern.

Not really expecting much if there would be changes on this upcoming new year but well, anything is possible and we might see some progress which we havent experience in last 2 years in the market.

We've been tanking or moving sideways for too long and in mention with Altcoins there would be still some hopes but we cant precisely know nor predict into things that might happen ahead.
Price would always vary or depend with the demand and if that thing do lacks then we know on what would happen.

The scam projects are not a invention of 2019, the scam projects are there when the alt coin boom started and billions of dollars are lost to scammers well before 2019 and yes these projects are experimental and as an investor you are just risking your money as there is no guarantee that they will come up with a viable product and if the project fails to fulfill what they started even after collected millions they will just shut their store and move to other projects and we have seen that in the past and you really think that people should trust these experimental projects  .

I don't know if we should expect a good price going up movement to altcoins this coming year but as an optimistic person, I don't close the door on hoping that altcoin will recover. Mostly 2017 investors already gave up on putting their money to cryptocurrency cause of what they've experienced. So the last 2 years results are affected by a scam and fake projects.

2019 hasn’t been good enough. Especially with all the more scam projects flowing around and Bitcoin dwindling down.

the more money in this scene, the more bad actors are being attracted, all hoping to bring BTC down enough to get in cheap again : /
I dont think their will be necessarily NEW 2020 projects, but rather the results of years of established projects work coming to fruition, i.e ETH 2.0, taproot,near, so many things

Some good projects will be appearing in the next year and that's true but not all of the project, just small percentages of the legit project will appear next year. There will be so many big news about that and especially for the updates regarding libra projects and many more. Bitcoin halving will become the main bet for the whole of crypto users about the price of crypto in the future.

Let's do hope in year 2020 everything price of crypto on the moon. That is right, in the previous year 2018 and 2019 all projects ended up scams or not listed on an exchange and consider as dead. Probably investors are afraid of the scenario until now and they are always doubtful about that. Hoping so, because if most of bigger altcoins continue with bear market continue, it will be harder to rise. I am pretty sure that some of them do quite well still, but it takes more and more time to restore the trust of people that lost almost everything.

For sure. With the halving coming up and a potential ETH2.0 renewable I think that it is safe to say 2020's crypto prospects are much better than that of this year's at the very least.

However, just don't hold too much hope in having something the magnitude of 2017, because that clearly won't happen again.

And also expect bitcoin dominance to remain high, because BTC will be what's driving this round of bullish activities, not alts like 2017. Because institutional investors will be at the forefront of the market this time around.

There aren't too many positive signs so we can hope that 2020 will be a great year for altcoins. Keep in mind that altcoins have just achieved ATH in 2018 and until now we have only spent 2 years for the crash, so in my opinion we need to wait at least 3- 4 years or longer to see the same growth as early 2018. But I'm pretty sure that altcoins will never be able to achieve ATH again. There are too many dead projects and there are still too many scam projects. This makes investors always afraid and dare not invest too much in altcoins

There is always hope but not among projects that are scam. Scam projects and shitcoins will not have hope because they will sooner or later perish. The ones that will have high hopes in the coming year of 2020 are the only those that have actual role in society. If coins are there as shitcoins that are supporting no actual products with no economy either, then they are hopeless.

I think it is a cryptocycle. after bull run in 2017, cryptocurrency would decrease in these 2 years

Include 2018, both years weren't good for ICO and IEO is also a contender. The early time of IEO became good but it's fate changed at the end of this year. Many lost interest to it because of the same scheme as it has with ICO. For 2020, I'm not thinking anymore about ICO or IEO or STO but if there will be another revolutionized kind of investment and crowd funding, what that could be?

A gov't entitled and intervened crowd funding? well, if that's going to be the next thing many will rush to invest to it again and then will share the same fate with ICOs.

In 2019, there are many people who make a profit by investing in altcoins. Especially investing in IEO projects at large exchanges, it helps investors get a lot of profits ... the market only collapses when bitcoin rises to $ 13k and starts to go down, during the year. 2020 I believe that Bitcoin will soon surpass ATH and it will help increase the altcoin price soon afterwards

yes, every new year will bring new hope. in 2019 ICO has almost been replaced with IEO, so it is very likely that 2020 will be filled with IEO, and people can also easily assess the quality of the IEO, even based on where the IEO was conducted. moreover halving, ETH 2.0, Libra, and others will be available in 2020. So, 2020 can be a new hope for crypto users.
