Will 2020 give new hope to Altcoin?

It depends on the Altcoin.. You can't polish a turd. If you invest in some of the top altcoins, I'm sure you'll end up doing fine in the long run. But, don't expect crap to miraculously turn in to diamonds just because it's 2020. Basically, stick to the top coins and avoid everything else. The investment is too risky and likely nothing will ever come of the project.

Likely 2019 will also be a lesson for investors who have spent a lot of money on bad projects and they will not do it again, but if it is really a new project will learn from what has happened surely everyone will still believe to invest in an altcoin

in 2019 investor get loss, i think in 2020 they are will be more carefull about investing.
for me better invest in bitcoin then other, bitcoin is like gold, even bitcoin price get down, im sure bitcoin can survice and rising again.

I don't know if we should expect a good price going up movement to altcoins this coming year but as an optimistic person, I don't close the door on hoping that altcoin will recover. Mostly 2017 investors already gave up on putting their money to cryptocurrency cause of what they've experienced. So the last 2 years results are affected by a scam and fake projects.

Yeah, this time I agree with you. After a remarkable achievement in 2017, Altcoin prices have not been able to rise again until now. The endless price reduction makes investors think twice about putting their money in crypto. It could be that the decline in investor interest makes the altcoin price even more alarming.
2020 have come, hopefully the price of Altcoin can provide new hope for traders and investors.

Imo, I don't have much expectations for 2020. I will just keep doing what I have been doing for the last 2 years. Accumulate, accumulate and then accumulate some more. 2019 had been not so good for altcoins as this year has given us number scam projects and as a result, some of the genuine projects have been failed wherein people just pretended any projects with ICO as a scam. I think 2020 will bring new hopes and some good project in the market by considering 2019 as a learning area.

We all had bad experiences with altcoin last 2019. Now that a new year has come, we need to be more optimistic and keep up the hope in our heart that altcoins would experience a better change this year. There may still be lots of scams this year but we should use already the lessons we've learned from the past year after participating on those cold-blooded scams and be better upon picking a certain project we'll join. I am sure that people can wait for this year. Now we are in the new year moment which can bring those hopes to become real although we don't know the right time when the market will be changed. crypto is unpredictable ,special things happen when you least expected. Bitcoin and altcoin already survive for two consecutive years of bear market ,hopefully this 2020 will be a different one and might also the bullish year that we are all waiting for.

It depends upon how the investors are planning to invest in different alt coins when there is a halving coming up in BTCitcoin and if we see a rally like we saw in 2017 then the alt coin market will go down further because everyone like to ride the market and earn the profit and then after that we might see a rally in the top alt coins.

2019 was pretty well and I think 2018 was the learning year, not 2019! After so many scams in 2018, people understood investing in ICOs are just bullshit! In 2019, some altcoins did well but most of the reputed high ranked altcoins did not well enough! I Don't think without a bull run, those coin prices will grow for a good price. If bitcoin halving works like before then a new bull run may change the whole crypto market scenario!

2020 is the year where bitcoin halving is happening again. So there is already a.big chance of a bull run after the halving. If.bitcoin pumps altcoins will follow.

A big hopes for bitcoin and not for altcoin. Remember in a few months ago ethereum has already done its halving and that doesn't even give a huge impact to the price of altcoin. that's only the price of ethereum was gettign a slightly growth caused by the block halving that already happened in the past. Altcoin needs a good fundamental to follow the bitcoin pump. Bitcoin does it alone without altcoin.
Just never try to expect a huge gain for altcoin caused by that. Bullrun is not yet coming and see the altcoin is not getting bearish market is more than enough rather than rush for the bullrun.

While I have my doubts that a bull run for bitcoin will happen during the next year if that were to happen then the one that will get all the benefits is bitcoin, why investors should take their chances with altcoins? Just last year bitcoin gave you 100% profits and if sold at the top you could have obtained 200% or 300% profits while most of the major altcoins gave profits smaller than that, and all of that was with a correction, a bull market will be many times more profitable for bitcoin but not for altcoins.

Well of course it's been only 3 days since 2019 ended so the market will still feel like the bloody market of 2019 but i think this will just run flr about few months and then the market will start to recover and i hope that we'll see some pump even before the halving because of course halving will make coins pump but will not take effect immediately so 3rd to 4th quarter of this year is the time that i think we'll see some big happenings not only to bitcoin but also to altcoins.

May be, may not be. The problem with Altcoins is that you can never tell what the team might do to the project. The fluctuations if BTC is already killing them and on that they are losing their community so it's not sure whether Altcoins will make it in future. May be the potential ones.

even now, I have seen a fairly good development of bitcoin, and altcoin. I think this year has a positive effect on prices. whether it's the effect of halving, or ethereum 2.0, but I also believe that sooner or later, prices will rise. it is likely that prices could rise close to $ 8,000 this month.

look at the charts man, its definetely going to be a good first half of 2020 for many alts
look at the charts of Siacoin, Dash, XLM they looks very good on the daily and weekly!
