2019 had been not so good for altcoins as this year has given us number scam projects and as a result, some of the genuine projects have been failed wherein people just pretended any projects with ICO as a scam. I think 2020 will bring new hopes and some good project in the market by considering 2019 as a learning area.
Many investors learned from their past experience and probably they are now careful when choosing what project to trust. Every new year brings hope thus im bullish this year is good for crypto as a whole. The future of alts or how the market will perform for this year is still uncertain. But I'd like to stay positive and look forward on what's ahead. |

So far, the alts are growing with Bitcoin, if this continues, we can hope that the alts have a chance of recovery and strong growth.
As long as bitcoin can keep this trend and altcoin will be fine. It looks like altcoin is getting increase without the help from the bitcoin as XRP is getting 10% increase while bitcoin is getting only 1% based on the CMC chart. Crypto is getting very good fundamental caused by bitcoin right now. strong grow will come for sure |

It has always been that when the price of Bitcoin falls, the prices of Altcoins fall, and when the price of Bitcoin increases, the prices of Altcoins increase. We just have to wait for what will happen after the halving event in the middle of 2020. Let's hope the Bitcoin price bull run comes along and the Altcoins will follow him. Honestly, about project i still feel pessimist if developers still think they create project to be rich. Although not all, but there are a lot of developers who think about that. If not, why they already make like salary for their team use token sale funds. If they really think about the project, they will choose develop project is most important thing first. |

This is the year that is predicted to be the most successful year of the crypto market and the old investors will soon return because I believe that by 2020 people will have more opportunities to make money. In fact, Bitcoin and Altcoin are rising slightly in recent days and this is definitely a good time to invest because I believe that the altcoin season can happen anytime. However, it is also necessary to consider carefully because the bear market has not ended and the downtrend could return if investors begin to lose hope in this market. |

The ones which are contributing big to the development of crypto will grow while those that do not will vanish. This is also a year that is full of hope for Bitcoin.
i think that the only thing you should do is watch on the charts everything else is an opinion or a theory charts showing that the momentum is coming to turn into green very soon in 2020 and thats everything that matters many coins are oversold for months now in weeky charts we've waited a long time for the chart to rise. and this only happens with little value. we must see increased trade. if only the value graph increases but the trade moves only slightly it will be very difficult to wait for the market to be improved. its because we did not have the right momentum on the charts now it looks much better position to make a rally look at weeky chart of the altcoins on Binance.. |

Altcoins have to give altcoins a new hope. For the past 2 years nothing new has ever emerged from the altcoin world, they keep on "improving" but X coin does Y coins thing into their blocckhain and Y does it from Z coins and vice versa so they are all not actually improving but adding each others features into their own without a real improvement to blockchain or altcoin world that didn't existed.
Some maybe improving the current system and doing it better like maybe DASH being more private than it used to be but obviously that is not the issue they have neither. So, altcoins need to improve their game a bit if they want to have a good year this year. If not worst case scenario maybe bitcoin will go up a lot and altcoins will gain value in fiat terms even if not in bitcoin terms.

What happens to Altcoins depends mainly on Bitcoin's price and development. If everything goes as after the previous halvings, then at the end of the year we are can expect a new bull run and also Altseason.
When it comes to ICOs, if there is no regulation then investors will not return with new capital. I think that STO will have a better future because it is much better regulated and gives greater security to investors.

The rally for altcoin has already started and just hope if that will be happening very soon. People are putting their hope in the next bullish trend. |

Whenever there is a bull run, many scam projects appear. However, I think that at the moment investors on the crypto market are much smarter and more cautious than in 2017. I think they will invest in ICO / IEO / STO but only in well-proven projects. Also Altcoins will have a chance for new ATH, but only those whose developers are active. It will be a year for good projects, no more scams. |

We all do hope that this year 2020 will bring hope not just for the sake of Bitcoin but as well as into the whole crypto community which includes the existence of Altcoins. It is indeed that year 2019 have given bad impression and reputation to ICO projects due to the recent cases of scams that involves ICOs which makes people conclude into generalization that all projects are scam which is not totally true since there are still a lot of legible and reputable projects existing in the market. We must hope that as this year 2020 continues to get into our calendar, may Altcoins be given a chance to clarify itself that not all Altcoins are scam and they are still worthy of trust and investment and may also be the past experiences in 2019 have leave us lessons to learn about that we must not generalize everything because of a mistake of a single project known to be scam to get into the reputable and legible projects. We must keep in mind that Altcoins are also that valuable like Bitcoin in this industry we are all into so we must continue the practice of investing and using Altcoins like the old times, assured that the Altcoin you have is legible and worthy. |

May be, may not be. The problem with Altcoins is that you can never tell what the team might do to the project. The fluctuations if BTC is already killing them and on that they are losing their community so it's not sure whether Altcoins will make it in future. May be the potential ones.
Altcoins are facing a huge set of problems, while we know that most of the time altcoins need bitcoin in order to go up the interest that bitcoin is getting from investors is too high and it is not leaving anything for altcoins, also due to the scams many are seeing all altcoins as scams and even if this is not true I am not sure how altcoins are going to convince the ones that think like that to change and finally while some altcoins are looking to fulfil their goals most of their developers are not capable of carrying their altcoins to the success everyone wants. |

There was a lot of IEO that made a ton of profit to its investors this year, a lot of bad ones as well and some of the good ones eventually went down as well but in any case there was that increase and that helped a lot of money revive the old days of ICO. Hopefully this year will be even better, IEO is at its full force and binance with all other big exchanges will have their own IEO funding on full speed, I assume they will make some more profit this year as well, you have to be quick tho, otherwise you may lose money when they go down.
However, the "old" altcoins we all know and love like eth, ltc, dash, ada, monero etc etc all looking good this year as well, I am hoping those will be the ones who will make the most money honestly, that way we could make profit without risking funding new coins.

Not all altcoins has bad movement last 2019 there are some altcoins that actually keeps increasing until now. There are just some altcoins that made for marketing purposes and after they collected enough amount they will abandon the project until the coin die or no value. Since this year 2020 and blockhalving is nearly happen soon I think this is not the right year for altcoin to see that the price will increase again maybe for bitcoin but not for altcoin. Because the last blockhalving before the altcoin increase 8 months or after a year the price of altcoin increase(2016 blockhalving then 2017 where the price of altcoin increased.). |

Unfortunately, but such a long period of bear market has led many altcoins to a situation from which they will probably never rise again. Those projects in which dev team is active have a good chance of achieving a new ATH in 2020. However, if someone is counting on investors to take risks and pump funds into dead coins, unfortunately he will have an unpleasant surprise.
