Will 2020 give new hope to Altcoin?

There has been some indication of an alt surge, as the latest price rises started with alts then went to bitcoin. It is this move to bitcoin that makes me skeptical that alts can rise significantly right now - shortly after the alt rises started, the money went back to bitcoin and alts dropped a bit again.
I can't see a huge alt surge unless the markets in general get a lot more bullish, which is likely to manifest first in a bitcoin rise. Alts don't look strong enough to sustain a rise by themselves.

As we experience in the past, alts often arise when bitcoin increase in price. It's more better to realize that project who is constantly developing and active in market have chance to increase when the price of bitcoin increase too,though it will always depend on what alt or project it is.

The many projects don't have the same perspective and the lack of vision is the first reason why they can't survive even in the bull markets. Developing project teams should be able to estimate the right time for discovering their best performance.

You make a good point but there are stll projects which didn't lack vision but barely flourish in the crypto market and that because the market of now is different to the early days market where project with intact vision thrive. What I'm trying to say is that aside vision there some aspect which new project team most include if they want to thrive.

At least for today, analyzing what is happening in 2019, it is safe to say that last year the cryptocurrency market returned to a bullish trend.  Of course, things are not at all what cryptocurrency users expected, but a clear increase in cryptocurrency prices did occur.  Based on this, users want to choose the most promising coins for investment and therefore I pay attention only to those projects that are associated with the largest communities of online games for which there is stable demand today, as well as those projects that revolutionize certain areas of human life with  using blockchain, since only such projects will have good prospects.

Every year investors have their own hopes for this market, but until now, everything is almost impossible to happen as expected. I'm not sure which project will be profitable for you but take the time to find out and consult with people.

 This year will be even harder than last year, there is a bitcoin halving going on with bitcoin and that will most probably cause bitcoin price to go up, now we are not %100 sure the price will go up but thats at least what is expected of bitcoin right now. If bitcoin price goes up, %90 of the time altcoin prices go down, at least goes down versus bitcoin even if not against dollars. That means this year could be a very challenging year for all altcoins that will be put to test against a bitcoin thats about to have its own halving. Maybe ethereum could take a stand with the hard fork Istanbul thats own its way but I don't know if any other coin can do the same. Hopefully I want bitcoin to go up but also altcoins to follow it and go up as well.

2019 was really bad for altcoins. Major altcoins have hit their roadblocks and we have seen some of the potential projects go down or just barely alive to get into 2020, With Bitcoin halving coming up and many major developments in top coins, we may see a positive year for all the alts.

I see the opposite, if this is a positive year for bitcoin then it is impossible that it will be a positive year for altcoins, just look at what it is happening in the market right now, the bitcoin dominance is above 68% and altcoins have no way to make that dominance to go down, if the price of bitcoin begins to go up most people are not going to invest only their fiat in bitcoin they're going to sell their altcoins to invest in bitcoin as well making the price of altcoins to go down which is precisely what happened during the last year.

Most projects that are currently underway are projects that took place in 2019, so, it is still difficult for us to predict the development of the project in 2020, will it be better or worse. But as a bounty hunter and trader of course we must continue to think positively under any circumstances, both in a deteriorating market and an improving market because the even though the market condition continues to deteriorate, of course it is a good opportunity for traders to buy altcoin as well on the contrary, so that in a bullish and bearish condition we must be able to use it as much as possible.

2018 and 2019 have weakened the altcoins a lot. so what was going on with ICO scams, exits and bad guys is crazy.
no wonder if the whole market has a bad reputation except for a few exceptions and will take longer to recover. no ieo or other things will help. 2020 will hopefully bring some stability again but for most of the altcoins i don't see a place in the market. unfortunately.

but take it easy, new projects will come soon when the market really recovers, we see now bitcoin price movements are quite good and also follow other altcoins, it already indicates that the market is out to recover, I can't say much, it's just usually crypto projects will come slowly as the crypto market grows, but we'll see in the near future whether many new projects will come every day

In 2019, I don't think investors want to invest anymore in ICO or new project. I'm sure investors are likely to invest in already large existing coins. In addition, Bitcoin will be halving next year so investors can save their bucks by investing some bitcoin for good. Thats possible, we know bitcoin has an influence to altcoins price and following the movement of it, thus if ever this year will trigger btc to soar high expecting alts to follow is already given.

On the other side due to long bearish trend and increasing scam investors are already careful not to trust ICO or IEO, their past experiences make them wise.

Like investing in alts, most of us now prefer to invest in btc rather than in alts because of the price surge that experts are predicting, its not accurate but somehow it has basis due to halving.

some do look dead now. especially those who come up with new projects and very brief stays on the market. they blame market conditions and their projects must be delayed development or forced to wait for the project. The market is improving a lot as of today and the entire alt coin market is rising along with bitcoin and it is a good time for all the alt coin investors but that does not mean that the bull run started, it will take a much longer time than this to see a real bull run in the market, we are months away from bitcoin halving and only after that we will see a huge rally.

I guess not too much. but for chart trading now it is very profitable. almost all altcoins are experiencing an increase even though they usually go back down too. I hope the current market can be stronger and we will see how the market moves up higher. the last few weeks have been profitable days for day traders. because the graphics are very fast and I guess we can start trying it.
