It does give ME some hope about altcoins. Everyone seems to realize that bitcoin is not the only coin out there, thats a very very important improvement in public interest. After the 2017 peak most people just got out of altcoins and that meant exchanging it to bitcoin and selling that, now bitcoin got hurt as well but alts only had selling off whereas bitcoin had purchases made with alts as well which helped it a bit so alts went down a lot more compared to bitcoin itself, hell its close to 50% of what it used to be on 2017 peak, not too bad, alts are down 80%+ compared to what they used to be.
This year people are actually believing in altcoins and they are actually making good progress as well, I haven't seen that since the ATH times and hopefully this year we will get closer to those days.
There must be a reason why we could get back to those days and I am sorry to say it but I do not see it, ieos have been a failure, at the beginning people were excited about this new form of investing but now they are disappointed with the results and they are right since nothing has really changed, during this year we are going to see the bitcoin halving and all the eyes are on bitcoin and its movements so I do not see altcoins going back to their former glory. |

i believe so yes..
especially the coins that have halving such as Zcash - ZEC
i believe that it'll have some running in 2020 because of the halving hype
and if not so after the halving will have some organic run up

2019 had been not so good for altcoins as this year has given us number scam projects and as a result, some of the genuine projects have been failed wherein people just pretended any projects with ICO as a scam. I think 2020 will bring new hopes and some good project in the market by considering 2019 as a learning area.
As of now, altcoin price is not moving. They remain on their same price except ripple. We all know that a slight price rise up happen in ripple before. I think it is because of the bitcoins prince since the value of some altcoin including ripple is dependent on what will be the price of the bitcoin. Lets just hope that after the halving, the price of altcoin will be affected after that event. |

exactly, agree with you. although a lot of people said that halving not impact with altcoin price but i am believe that 2020 bring new hope for altcoin and almost all altcoins will increase price. at least if altcoin season not happen in half of this year i hope will happen in last of this year i am believe that many people wait for this season |

There's always a hope, and there's so many alts now that are traded ni Binance was really has a brilliant future, one of them are ALGO, i have a few of this token and seem this coin has lots of potential.
I certainly agree with you. There is hope and that hope will bring us to the top. There are lots of correction done in 2019 and these corrections will have a positive result. I hope investors will see that scammers also flee away from the campaigns and projects. Let us give back all for the Altcoin's extravagant return. |

We can be sure that without the bull run at the price of Bitcoin, the prices of altcoins will not rise. Looking at all historical Bitcoin price charts, the bull run always came a few months after the halving event. If 2020 gives hope for the reconstruction of altcoin prices, it will most likely happen in its second half.

With the upcoming bitcoin halving, we can say that there's hope of having altcoins increased prices. We may say that the halving would mainly give boost to bitcoin but still, we know that next to it is the huge possibility that altcoin's price will also increase following bitcoin. Even though there's no certainty about these things yet, we should still stay optimistic about the things happening in the market nowadays. This is the year where altcoins and bitcoin would regain their high value or better, exceed the limits they once had. |

Besides, we live to that hopes and I know everyone is thinking for the positive results that may this halving created. If we have noticed by now, we can see some price improvements into the leading altcoins and this could be a signal that there will might happen good things to the altcoins this year. But of course, those dead coins will simply stay the same unless if whales might play on them and catches noobs. For any time of this year, we can possibly see some altcoins turning back high as it previously happens. Only we need to be patient, we don't need to rush as everything will fine this year...  |

the coming year will certainly be marked by more security than 2019. 2018 is still deep in everybody's bones and therefore the next bull will not have it easy. he will come for sure but how easy as in the past it will not be anymore. |

The growth of top altcoins are following bitcoin even it gets more percentage than bitcoin but it can't leave the bitcoi's impact. The bullish on bitcoin is a key to make the whole of altcoin will be getting another bullish trend too. I just take tachyon as an example about how bitcoin was giving it a huge pump. |

I'm holding some altcoins, not altcoins that are on the top position but altcoins that are on the top 500 to 1000 but they do have potential I got it from bounty campaign and I am hoping this 2020 these altcoins will have a good price so I can make profit although I know that there's a possibility that the scenario is much different than back 2017. |

Today, the situation has changed dramatically, especially after a lot of fraudulent projects are discovered on the cryptocurrency market. |

I dont think the project would have a chance to grow. I am also a bounty hunters and I understand how difficult this job is now. Now there are projects with good ideas but they are not funded because there have been too many fraud projects before. It seems that investors are getting smarter and more careful, they are putting their money to buy mining coins and hold it. This makes the old alts segment to grow strongly such as Zcoin, Zcash, Dash, NEO, ICX. And for new projects, no matter how good the IEO is, it may not attract investors. By 2020 we will see many investors become traders and the market will only be bustling for top coins. With such a crowd mentality, I think the new projects will not have a chance when the legality is too vague. |

ofc op . 2020 is a new hope for all of the coins not just for the altcoins . you see , the coins now are starting to recover but only the recovery isnt on its full state because at certain price point the increase stop and go back a little and then will increase again and stop but this is better than nothing at all . better than the late 2018 and 2019 . not just hope to altcoin/crypto but people too . people are too hopeful for this one due to major incoming events that are going to occur later on .

There's only two, it's bitcoin and altcoins, when we say a year for altcoin that is presume that it's also a year for bitcoin too since everything depends heavily on bitcoin. . you see , the coins now are starting to recover but only the recovery isnt on its full state because at certain price point the increase stop and go back a little and then will increase again and stop but this is better than nothing at all . better than the late 2018 and 2019 . not just hope to altcoin/crypto but people too . people are too hopeful for this one due to major incoming events that are going to occur later on .
And you know why it's recovering? simply because of the hype of this coming bitcoin halving, and as bitcoin is growing significantly, it's understandable that altcoins will also follow its "master". and by the way, we are just heating up at the start, there will be more to come so expect more bullish price. |

I think 2020 is going to be massive years for undervalued coins such as RYO(Ryocurrency). I'm convinced about the small-cap coins which are still developing and making waves in crypto space slowly. But it is a matter of time how things are going to turn in the future.

Every new beginning gives new hope so I think this new year will be a hopeful one for the altcoins. But still the question remains to their individual projects. The ones which are contributing big to the development of crypto will grow while those that do not will vanish. This is also a year that is full of hope for Bitcoin.
most people will definitely focus on bitcoin, many hope that bitcoin will experience a change in market price movements this year. after bitcoin has improved, it's likely that everyone hopes that Altcoin will also experience the same thing and many of us all hope that in the future more potential projects will emerge Because most of the people’s know that, Bitcoin halving will be come in the year so many altcoins holders transformed in Bitcoin investment. Absolutely 2020 is special year we hope that, a lot of possibility to pump altcoins market.
