I think my 2020 standout will be Litecoin, Monero. But then again, I'm always thinking of them every year and every year except 2017 they haven't really done anything much haha.

But Ether should also be good. 2.0 is fully rolled out in 2020, so they might see some early traction, otherwise 2021 is their year.

And then we should never discount Bitcoin to rule them all. As usual.

I don't search for the new project in ICO or IEO. I still focusing on making more and more bitcoin by trading altcoin pair bitcoin, or bitcoin pair fiat because I see that the opportunity now is big depending on the last year. Although the bitcoin price is not increasing too high, that is enough for me to make a profit in bitcoin. I see that the altcoin movements in the middle of the last year have good movements, so I think that it will be a good chance to buy at a low price and sell at a high price. I am sure that if I can try to make a profit, my bitcoin amount will increase too, so I only need to wait for bitcoin price to hit the highest price too.

So you are trading traditionally rather than invest in ICOs/IEOs? That makes a lot of sense in the current climate because there are too many scams taking place where exchanges are colluding with scam projects in order to effectively steal from investors.

I hope your BTC investment pays off for you. Sooner or later the value of BTC has to increase.

The majority here will most likely call out BTC as the one and only true king to invest in right now, due to it's upcoming block halving, BUT the BTC dominance chart is at an all time high, just waiting for our precious altcoins to regain dominance.
The smart move is to move BTC into ALTS, but not any alts.

Forget all these ERC20 tokens, IEO's, ICO's etc. Centralized projects, including exchanges is hacked on the daily, so it's not worth it.

I believe decentralization will be the next big thing in 2020, so the obvious move is to accumulate projects such as Blocknet, and other projects revolved around decentralized trading.

We probably are due a bull-run so hopefully something active will occur in 2020 which will send Bitcoin sky-rocketing again. This time though it might make it past the $20k mark but what will happen when the bull-run ends and the sell-off begins? How will that negatively affect the whole market? It might lead to another 2 years of market decline before things improve.

About those useless coins or up and coming IEOs/ICOs which are basically scams designed to sell something unachievable to gullible investors while the teams behind them pocket the cash - I hope they fade away fast and leave the serious players to continue their quest to expand crypto.

until now, I am waiting for that development. although many people prefer bitcoin, for now, I made the decision to own 50% bitcoin, and 50% ethereum, because I waited for ethereum 2.0. however, I think if there is an increase in prices this year, then these two coins will be the first pump. only we have our respective considerations, like you who say that litecoin and monero will be more prominent.

For investment i don't have a lot of options only BTC and ETH. I think with both of it already make me confident in this 2020. Because at least for me who can't analyze market or anything that related in crypto see news about halving and ETH 2.0 already enough for me to hold my coins.

I'm sure even IEO is no longer hype in 2020 because investors are already losing hope with new projects because most of them are not really know about what they're making and how their product will survive in the future. There are many projects team faking their identity and create a project without knowing anything, all they know is just funding money for them to scam

   I have a crypto-portfolio with more then 10 coins and tokens. This year I will try to grow them, I would like to have more Bitcoins
and Ethereums in the first place, and later I will try to add some other top coins. I will try to stay focused on that, but if I see some

2020 have come,, so many people hope there will be a big change this year, in investing, I am always committed to my main goal, "avoid the risk of loss to gain profit". So I am more interested in investing in the top Altcoin than betting on Ico or Ieo.

Although, there are still some genuine ICO/IEO but with initial offering market giving investors 70% chance of making lost i choose to go with an existing coin which i have evaluating alot of time and they perform beautifully especially during bitcoin block halving season.

I would go with existing coin because IMO coin is stronger than a token, like what we have witness on ETH tokens, when ETH dump they all follow.

No to ICO anymore, even if I like they won't succeed because people have found a safer platform, ICO is too risky and IEO is quite safer since it's done in exchange and less chance to get scam as long as we are participating in reputable exchange like Binance.

Definitely No to ICO, and be responsible investing in IEO. I will prefer to  invest maybe once the project already succeed and perform well in the market. I might start trading with new alts for short term but will still hold BTC, ETH. LINK, EOS, Waves even it will took a long time to pump again.

For now I don't have any yet aside from Btc and ETH. I'm planning to invest in some new alts later this year maybe after the halving, it can be in EOS or montero or BNB. Will watch out and will try to invest more and diversify my portfolio after halving and will try to see how the performance of the market going.

It was a mix of emotion for this year, believing that Bullish will come this year and because of halving, people get more interest in the future. All the pointers point to Bitcoin to have a big year. We are not sure about Ethereum, their migration to POS is still not sacrosanct. BNB is another token to watch out for but I think the bullish story of burning is over since the team is not buying from the one in circulation but those holding from the team so, it has no effect on the price

Maybe bitcoin is the only way they could think that would save them since the price is a bit cheaper. So this is the best time to accumulate as much as we can until the bull run starts. Best coins that would stand out this year is still the top 10 coins in the market cap as a part of investment.

Wouldn't go for any tokens, IEO or ICOs. They all have a very bad history (not all must most of them). Wouldn't want to start my year with a really bad investment. I would go for existing well known coins like bitcoin, ETH, LTC, doge etc to be on the safe side. Might try out some new coins too if they have potential, but will invest small amount, rather than going all in on those coins.
