Good day! I would still go for BTC and ETH. I'm more confident to buy and hold these two, coz I know their value will go up. As for new projects to invest, there are still a lot of scam projects so due research is needed before investing.

I think for 2020 you can safely choose and invest in the coins that are in the top 20, it is in the top 20 are the most promising coins.

I totally like the decision of Gabbie and i believe every cryptocurrency enthusiast accumulate some polution of the mentioned coin but Mamesso your respond is somehow misleading because there are some top coin which arent good for any form of investment especially the centralized coins.

DEX would have a big deal this year because it's become a trend right now, DEX volume is increasing since last year and i'm sure people are slowly moving to DEX this year since it's more safe and price is uncontrolled

2020 have come,, so many people hope there will be a big change this year, in investing, I am always committed to my main goal, "avoid the risk of loss to gain profit". So I am more interested in investing in the top Altcoin than betting on Ico or Ieo.
I'm not saying Ico or Ieo isn't good enough, but many things I considered before making a decision. Investing safely, will always make me feel comfortable.

There is logic to your plan, it probably does make more sense to invest in an existing altcoin with the current market in decline rather than invest in an ICO or IEO because so many of them are scams anyway.

It is the only coin that we are certain that can rally but not the rest of the coins you mentioned.

but for an alt, ETH for sure man, IF, an that's a big if, it goes PoS, i believe it will hit easy 500$+ in 2020

Millions of ETH are been sold by the team in the past two months and you think that the price would rally after they move to POS. I highly doubt these rallies.

BnB maybe too if they keep on doing stuff and burning it.

This is another pump and dump coin that is done by the biggest exchange in this market and that does not gives its the legitimacy, burning of tokens is one thing but i call this coin as a centralized bullshit to make money for the company.

The fact they are being bought and sold on p2pb2b and whitebit (both scam exchanges and several others are owned and operated by Ukrainian scammer called Valerii Solodovnyk) means I think this coin is not going to be successful probably for a variety of reasons including some listed here:
