Will Ethereum Big PUMP.?

Ethereum's price depends on Bitcoin's price, and if Bitcoin's price increases by halving in 2020, I'm pretty sure ethereum's price will also pump in the near future. But I don't expect ethereum to be able to achieve ethereum again because it's too hard, the current price is too low compared to the all-time-high, so we need a larger pump than 2017 to do that. I'm projecting that the price of ethereum this year will reach at least $500 and that's certainly a great price many current investors want.

While this is generally the case, there are certain events that could trigger Ethereum to pump up a bit without Bitcoin pumping up. If there's good news around the coin(The new update for instance) there can be a slight pump in price. However, it will likely just be a quick pump unless the marketcap increases to hold the price at the new high.

For 2020 there are indeed 2 coins which I believe will increase in price far from the market later.  Bitcoin and Ethereum.  One thing that is certain is that the bitcoin from the halving event and the ethereum of the update and discussion will be made in the future for this coin to be only 100m eth.

ETH promised there will be upcoming updates and will have big revolution in this year, i've heard from someone ETH will change their system to POS but it's not confirmed yet. We hope ETH 2.0 is a big deal for ETH and make investors are back holding much ETH so the price could recover to it's real price.

It is interesting that ETH pumps often start around this time of year. I'm not sure we can separate ETH from the rest of the market at the moment though; all coins are moving together. We may see a return to more bullish behaviour soon as we have bounced back a few times now from the support levels. There's only so long this can go on before the next resistance point is targeted.

The main thing I agree with from the links in the OP's post is that when considering price history over a few years, it makes more sense to look at log scale rather than linear.

well ethereum Pumped in 2018 when Bitcoin starts to fall hard after the Hype so meaning there is a chance that ETH will grow without the Bull of bitcoin.

Well, this market started in 2009 and how do you get here in 2008. Is there any confusion here for you? In addition, ETH is currently rising because it is affected by the price of Bitcoin, Bitcoin is currently growing slowly and it also helps the top altcoins recover slightly. Well, it is about time that Ethereum will do some bull run. The last time it made one was during the days when its ATH was reached. After that, Ethereum was never rising even up to half of its previous ATH. I understand that the market has been bad ever since but the price of ETH is too far from the $1,400 ATH. I think it is already good enough if ETH will get back to 4-digit even if it does not create a new ATH yet this year.

The dominance will decrease according to my technical analysis on the altcoin index charts. I will buy the promising coins included ETH if the fall down happens on the dominance chart which will be followed higher altcoin dominance.

if the technical analysis has been done then we just have to wait for the right time, but it must be careful when making investments. so we do have to choose the highest altcoin investment compared to the new altcoin because the profit potential will be better for sure.

The problem for ethereum during the last years is the very weak demand for it due to the lack of trust in the ico market, during those days ethereum had a huge demand because everyone wanted to be part of icos since they thought that was the way to make a lot of money, but since that is over ethereum will have a lot of problems moving on its own and if they want to move on their own they will need to convince future developers to develop their coins above ethereum or they must find another use for ethereum.

Nobody has a contact with ethereum team? I mean I know that must be something rare to have someone you know in the ethereum developer team and actually become friends online and get information out of them and come write here what you learned. That is both very difficult to achieve but also very shady thing to do if you are really friends.

However, if we knew at least one person from the development team we could actually hear about how the new "eth 2.0" thing is going on and we could decide on investing or not. We all know they had some issues with development and bugs before, so all there is left about the price is that if they actually do what they are trying to do now, the price will go up however if they fail that means price will definitely go down or stay same, that is why we need someone from inside to let us know how development is going.

that is an old myth mate . lately btc rise and fall on its own but i havent see eth move or follow its path but i only see eth getting dumped hard lately   .

eth is a big coin , a branch for other altcoins  .  so why would eth depend on btc  ?  though it could be true that other alts can depend on eth because they are in one chain  but btc have also its own different chain  .  still its not bad to be positive and hope that other cryptos can also recover not just btc  .

not a dependency I suppose. we can see bitcoin influences market movements and trading. it makes it seem that ethereum depends on bitcoin, but it isn't. they have different markets and different ways of working. the pump from altcoin must start from the altcoin holder community itself. then we will see the actual pump.

Nothing will pump until summer comes and nothing will happen with Bitcoin price as well as halv its still some months away and most of the traders and not only are speculate that a new bull run will trigger after halv occur which in my opinion will not come alive as the last halv of Bitcoin , just dragged the price down even more in order for the whales to accumulate the last phase and after 3-4 months the market reverse into a bull run so why Ethereum won't be the same ? When a bull run will come on Bitcoin, Ethereum will surely follow.

Looking at the current price of ethereum, which is far down, I feel unsure if ethereum will reach the ATH price. Maybe after the revolution to ethereum 2.0 there will be an improvement in prices but not soaring as has ever been experienced at the highest prices. I am also not sure whether to supply ethereum from now on, will it bring profits later, because ethereum prices could actually weaken.

As of today, there was a good pump in BTC but there is no good movement with ETH and other alts. Unlike before, ETH will follow but for sure when BTC dumps ETH will follow. May the question should be since ETH have a good standing and laege community, when can it stand alone?

I think ETH is not following this slight pump in BTC price simply because of how quick it happened. I think if BTC stays around the same price point or even higher for a few weeks, we'll probably see ETH follow suit. I don't think quick rises in BTC price really have much of an effect on altcoin prices with the way it's been up and down a lot lately. I could be completely wrong, but we'll find out soon enough. Let the price of BTC settle out and give people confidence in that price and see what happens.
