The thing is that people are not going to be satisfied with what they have gotten as profit since there is still the possibility that the price of the cryptocurrency will still go up. That’s why when they invest and they have got a little profit they still want to wait to see whether the price will go up, because they feel they might sell it and the price will pump the next day or so. That’s the same challenge I do have, finding it difficult to sell my coins when I make profit.

Just like now, I have made some good profit after the price went from $3000 to $14000 last year, but I still have not sold some of my bitcoins because some people have said there is going to be increase after the halving.

Estimate and assess your assets and just like what OP said profits is a profits no matter how big or small but if converted to fiat and you find growth to your original investment it's far better than keeping it inside your bank savings. It's your good instincts whenever you place your position, buy low and sell high still works if you know the right timing.

When I have benefited from the investment I made, I will personally choose to sell the coins that I have. But, everyone has a different way and some people are too greedy to get greater profits, so when the coins they hold have provided benefits they will choose to keep holding because they think the price of the coins will increase and sometimes because of the greed, not the benefits but losses.

I think he wants to say that when you see profit, then take it, don't wait for unclear speculation. it probably stands for all of it. however, I agree with some of his opinions, it's just that right now it's not a good idea to sell the assets you have, especially if you've been holding it for a long time. however, in this case we are with our own thoughts. he might regret selling his assets at a low price before the price actually pumps.

Yes I do agree with you that profit matters in the most of the crypto currency.because many of the people came here to start trading and get some decent amount of profit from from most of the crypto currency.

I see very few people getting profit when investing in cryptocurrency in 2019. Because most people invest in altcoins, but in 2019 altcoins completely collapse and do not grow like previous years. In 2019, only investing in bitcoin will make a profit and I believe that in 2020 everything will happen like that. Buy some bitcoins and wait until mid 2020

But make sure that you know what you are doing as earning in crypto is very difficult if you didn't know what you are doing. Like buying in low price and sell it in high price, what you need to know is when is the right time to sell it.

Yeah right. People always say that. Take out the small profit and then when the price shoots up, they're filled with regret and urge to get back into the market only to make emotional decisions. I guess having a plan is what's best here. Be aware of what's happening but base your decisions on what your plan is. Profit comes to those who know what they're doing.

Of course that's why we play here, you always have to find a way to make money regardless how much small or big it is. Others loves to day trading, while there are people who invest and HODL. But it doesn't matter, at the end of the day, everyone can make money here specially if you know the tips and tricks on the market. Maybe everyone has different goals as to how much money they want to earn, weekly, monthly or even years of HODLing. But at the end of the day, you should take your profits and enjoy it, simply as that.

I think it's not always like that, we have to manage our trade. If we're sure the profits is having a growth we should just sell a half or not all of our trades because we'll miss a chance if we do. So i think the most important is the risk management, it's okay to have losses as long as our profits is still more than our loss.

I once had a mindset like that, I was always waiting for the high price, basically, I was greedy. sometimes I also believe too much in projects, many of them disappoint me and in the end, I suffer losses. since then I changed my mindset to not be greedy and the most important thing is profit. but sometimes we have to take risks if we want to get a bigger profit, and vice versa, we can also bigger lose. so if you are a person who likes to be safe, getting a profit is good enough.

Yes, profit is a profit but it doesn't end on such idea. You could do more with your profit, you could increase it more by just waiting or analyzing the chart. Like if you hold then you see that price got a bit higher from the time you invested, then you'll take the profit right away because it is a profit already? Man, that doesn't end there, I know you're just taking proper measures to avoid loss but you could do more with it. Anyway, the idea isn't bad, I just want to suggest that you could do more with it.

The idea is not that you shouldn't increase your profit if you can or understand the market properly but take advantage of the profit your investment already made instead of trying to increase it at the end you risk not earning any profit at all, of course everyone would want to increase their profit by holding and wait a much higer price but sometimes this is a wrong thing to do because that opportunity might not come again, things are no longer like before where people hodl for a better price, nowadays, price are depreciating and it is only wise to take profit while you can.

I'm invested on the crypto but I don't have idea if in the future this project will be succeed and I have only thing that I know was the project has a great vision for anyone and it can help us for the future of transactions. That is Elrond, Elrond has own chain but its not already launch, This is their promised that they will launch this year and I will wait.

Even if the profit is small as long as it's counted as a profit, you should be okay with that. The lesson of being greedy has turned me into that belief too that we should be contented with every profit that we make for every trades that we do. Too much greed can also lead you to losses if you didn't sell at the right time.

So i think the most important is the risk management, it's okay to have losses as long as our profits is still more than our loss.

This is part of it but still you're going with the profit taking and minimizing your losses. Both are important and it's how you handle yourself base on your trades, risk management and emotional control.
