this bastard says he claims about me.MERIT ABUSERS & FAKE TRUST: Merit abuse and fake Trust exchanging between small circles of alt-accounts or like-for-like minded bullies/scammers is taking its toll too because several users that clearly pass merit between each and leave positive Trust for each other have gained DT1 and have even sent PMs threatening other users to retract various comments otherwise they will receive negative feedback. SCAMMER OWNED BOUNTY CAMPAIGNS:
Recently, towards the last quarter of 2019 unfortunately some scams have tried to use bounty campaigns as indirect bribes just to divide our community with those on one side that actively promoted the scams and those on the opposite side categorically refused to accept money from scammers and never retracted their scam accusations. The sad part was reading posts from members who had previously good reputation now trying to justify their association with scammers but there was no justification ever provided that was ever genuine, they simply became greedy and wanted money.
Let us hope those members that surrendered their morals and values for the sake of pennies from scammers in 2019 never ever allow themselves to stoop so low again because our forum is much stronger when we stand together and it is definitely much weaker when we are divided. I implore those members to wipe the slate clean for 2020 and ask them to stop associating with scammers either directly or indirectly as promoters, signature promoters, affiliates or associates.
We all should also hope 2020 will be the year the forum owners/operators will clamp down on the scammers that are using this forum as a vehicle to carry out their scams and modern day thefts by using Announcement threads and signature campaigns and promotions to spread the lies and propaganda to carry out their scams.

There are good people bad people indifferent people. people that shift and you don’t quite know if they are good. I used to point out scammers selling in the marketplace. I used to do lots of escrow for lots of people. I was doxxed on a scammy website called bad buyers. It was not a true statement. with zero proof. But my address was released. my phone was released. my name was released. since most of my internet activity is here, most likely a scammer that I caught did it to me. Result is I don’t escrow and don’t as hard to find scammers. As I don’t want my loved ones to suffer from internet harassment. good luck 🍀 with the thread. |

@JollyGood, I think it is not appropriate use of red trust to tag campaign participants. I agree it looks very shay for someone on DT1 to promote an exchange with an infinite number of complaints never solved. I even understand your intentions which is unabling the signature promotion around. But still it is not a decent reason to tag someone with red trust as an more larger group of users are already engaged in similar signature promotion. Let alone administration handle it as theymos did it last time by banning all the signatures, that could be the best way possible.
Same can be said to @marlboroza if they are willing to consider.

I really enjoy the irony of many people who go to Bitcointalk only to say Bitcoin(talk) is dead! If that would be true, why are you here? I called you out on what I consider incorrect use of the Trust system: ~ wolwoo1. In one week, this DT1-member added 24 users to his Trust list. Most of those users never left any feedback and don't have a custom Trust list. Therefore, they don't belong on DT2, and the user who adds them doesn't belong on DT1. 2. 4 months ago, this user left positive feedback to 16 users, all without reference link. The only thing they seem to have in common is their nationality, just like the users on his Trust list. That shouldn't be a reason to give them positive feedback and/or DT2-powers. 3. This user leaves retaliation feedback. By using reason and arguments, I convinced many DT1 members to exclude you, and your DT1 power dropped from +3 to -6 within a week. Feel free to explain why you included dozens of users who don't even have a Trust list and/or never left any feedback: How can you know their judgement belongs on DT2? I know the answer: you don't! The only connection I can think of is that they use the same local board as you do. You may think that's a good enough reason, the rest of the world seems to disagree. While you're at it, maybe you can also explain why you've excluded these users from your Trust list: I can't help but think you did this out of retaliation. Of course, you're completely free to base your Trust list on anything you want. But if you act all emotional and make irrational decisions, don't be surprised if other users distrust your judgement and exclude you from their Trust list. I wouldn't be surprised if you get more exclusions based on this topic. |

Just because you are having a few disagreements with specific members does not mean that the forum is dead because not everyone here is going to be part of your little wars.
I saw the way you interacted with members during that time you tried to apply to become a merit source and i just knew that it wasn't going to end well for you.

While Wolwoo clearly is reacting in a counterproductive manner, I think he does have a point regarding signature campaigns. I think the language barrier is not helping him get his point across well either. This kind of rating has become one of those things that people looking to manufacture some crime use when looking for a reason to impugn & try to damage the reputations of users in retribution for whatever the butt hurt of the day is. I also find it interesting no one ever goes after the campaign managers of these signature bounty listings if they are so bad. Funny how those rules get applied in such a targeted manner. This is another one of those petty and subjective infractions that should just be left alone rather than allow it be used to amplify disputes and have it be used as a tool of retribution. Of course if you are the kind of people who have nothing better to do than get all up in people's business than you might be forced to find something else to do. The campaigns should be targeted if anything, not the random users.

I hope @theymos is noticing that the current trust feedback structure is being used to silence dissenting opinions in the forum like some oppressive political weapon... Once it's established that a member may be voicing unpopular or provocative opinions like Wolwoo here, it almost inevitably follows that some character assasinators like jollygood will emerge from their holes to paint these "renegades" red based on their non-trust related snowflake personal feelings, and the forum goes back to being an echo chamber of mediocre, lukewarm and extremely safe opinions, instead of the open-minded, intellectual platform most rational participants would presumably desire to have... |
