I totally agree with what you said. basically using crypto as a real payment tool is a very fun and safe thing in my opinion, how about crypto we don't need to repit the hassle of carrying cash which can cause various kinds of impacts such as theft, robbery etc. But with crypto we can feel safe because the key is in our brain in the form of a password, with crypto we can get all access rights in full. In fact, since I use and own crypto, especially in my area, there are also many private crypto providers and sellers (non-exchangers) and it's fun, we can buy everything we need, especially things related to the internet.
BTC, ETH are the first choice for transactions, and of course the whole world has recognized it.

It seems fun to use crypto as a payment tool besides being safe and comfortable to use without worry.
but the sad thing for me is that in the country where I live I have not found a shop or anything that uses crypto as a payment transaction.

I think the main problem is that. Maybe for digital product, a lot of people can access and buy it if they need. But for physical thing, not all country have shop that accept bitcoin, and people maybe think twice to buy something from other country because of cost of shipping or maybe tax in each country that maybe make we must pay more for it.

Interesting article. It only shows that crypto is becoming mainstream. I have seen one or two electronics machines in our country that already accepts transactions using BTC but I never knew that many altcoins are also accepted. The development of Blockchain and crypto is indeed running at a fast pace and many are supporting it.

Haven't experienced paying yet thru ETH unless its a personal transfer. In my merchants I only paid with Bitcoin as long as it supports the wallet application that im  using that is able to do bills payment. There is no known outlets yet that accept crypto in my area, it will be good if they will also plan to start this year.

In some countries maybe, but in the rest of the world i think its not even close to reality, only the key cities has the capability to accept cryptocurrency as payments, still fiat is the most accessible the dominant currency where ever you are, but in fairness to cryptocurrency, i think its slowly moving forward and continue to find more innovative ways to spend cryptocurrency in real time without hassle. for me cryptocurrency still needs a lot of time to break the barrier and spend cryptocurrency in the form of simplicity just like the traditional fiat money and i hope that day will come sooner that we expected.  

Some are still not knowledgeable that crypto exists. There were times I tried to send money from to other countries and I really intend to explain and send my money thru crypto other than bank and remittances, sometime they just need to be teach as there are really available now almost everywhere.

That's so rampant these days, many of these people didn't really acquire the knowledge on cryptocurrency's usefulness on basic money spending. I guess sending money internationally was a basic services which every person used worldwide. Transferring money internationally provided a very comfortable ways in order to receive money without any hassle, and the safest and fastest ways in of getting your money through online was cryptocurrency transfer. Without any knowledge of that, of course it would be a huge problems as one mentioned here.

The problem here is that those asking never felt searching the Google for this information. If they had simply entered the keyword who who accepts Bitcoin or who accepts Ethereum they would have found lot of websites listing the name of stores and online retailers acceptin bitcoin.

We can say that merchants accepting crypto payments are definitely increasing since bitcoin is getting more attention but it's still not enough. It's indeed increasing but only in specific country and places. Here in my country, I still haven't encountered any merchant accepting crypto. Maybe there is but I haven't seen one yet.
In other countries it's not that accessible because either governments and lack of knowledge are the major factors affecting it.

in fact what is difficult in the crypto transaction process is the existing regulations in the country. I personally am one of the traders who sell daily necessities, I want to implement a transaction with crypto but I am still afraid of the existing law and I also do not want to do that because it violates the laws in my area.

Although crypto usage and mass adoption is growing steadily and slowly everyday but in countries like where i live they are officially banned that means they are being traded only in the background and unless govt declares them legal to buy and sell i think the pace will remain slow.

I think it's better to start writing your politician to start conducting research and pass legislation on crypto so that more adoption and merchant will utilize this innovative cryptocurrency. Paying in crypto is very convenient, I do prefer paying it to my friends and online transactions.

I think this is one of the main features that are important. transaction price and speed. it is very very important. we want cryptocurrencies to be used by anyone and anywhere. With a high commission, many people simply can not pay this commission. if the transaction speed is low, then many places that will accept cryptocurrency simply will not wait

I have seen many business in my country specially focused on foreigners have a bitcoin accepted here sign. Bitcoin payment through QR code is accepted in most of restaurants, jeweler shops, souvenir shops and hotels. Litecoin seems to be the second most popular here. Bitcoincash payments are much popular in China.

Those that are saying this is an old data, you should take not that he said it’s a data of verified merchants that accepts these cryptocurrencies. Agree with you on this matter. In the second half of 2019, most stores and companies on the internet have restricted the acceptance of payments in cryptocurrency because the market is constantly going down. And it makes the revenue of the company or store at a loss if continued to use this payment method. It is difficult for cryptocurrencies to be widely used and popular if the price fluctuates so much as it is today.  I don't know what the "verified merchant" means and how you verify any of the merchants or where did you find that data but I am pretty sure there there are more places that accept bitcoin in just my country than 453 so I am pretty sure this is not really a full on idea but more like a guess. It could very well mean that there are more "verified merchants" this year than ever before and nothing else. However I too agree that bitcoin payments are definitely on the rise including all other altcoins as well but what do we consider a payment? What do we pay? BNB is the most used altcoin for payments if you look at trading fee as a payment for example, probably used even more than bitcoin, so is that a payment? Is it just shopping?

 In any case every single year it will be more and more places we can spend crypto to pay for stuff but I still feel like its not enough just yet.
