It still depend on the position of your heart and how much you want to invest. Short term investment is Day trading which involves daily buying and selling of bitcoin to make profit irrespective of the volatility.
Long term investment involves purchasing bitcoin and holding it for a  long period of time, while targeting selling it for a more profitable price in the future.

don't waste your time, and do it now. see when the price of bitcoin drops below $ 6k, the price of bitcoin suddenly rises to a higher price.

I don't think that your investment will be profitable right now due to the fact we were still in bearish trend. And due to this circumstances we have now probably long term investment will be much better compared to short time investment.
