Combining 2 ASICs Antminer S9Increase productivity with lower power consumption. Work on one control board and one power supply. Silent mode of operation (can be used in the office) You need to solder 9 resistors 4k7 and 3 18pin connectors. 1 long flex 18 pin (can be taken from L3+ or D3) 20Th Power 1500WFirmware link: V1 http://bit.ly/2U8Pxo7V2 http://bit.ly/antminer_S9_Pro_v5Grill drawing: http://bit.ly/grille_s9

When u go in autotune configuration and choose the manual option .When you enter any frequency above 587 it doesnt work . In the auto tune log it says over and over “not starting wait 30 sec” and never actually sets anything.
Why does it do this ?
Any dev fee on this version ?
Anyway to see the source code ?

Are those resistors 201 or 402?
And why do you have to change the Firmware?

Of course you could just use BraiinsOS or any other method to reduce the speed. What is the advantage over running a couple of 10THs S9s? An extra Xilinx arm controller?
But sure it can be easily done, no need for any dev fee firmware. Can you make your S9 produce 10 THs and consume 750W?. Maybe the "trick" is just to use immersion so you can cut the fans power draw...

Well, you have one power cord, one cat cable and only 2 fans. And also the noise level is way down. That also make it .082 JS.

So you made it draw more power? 82w/th don't these do 80w with LPM

I appreciate your DIY video. Great work! I have a couple of questions: how stable it is at work? I mean you soldered manually and Antminers are very sensitive for any intervention. We have made a lot of repair works and usually, after any hash board works, miners work unstable after some time. And second question how many setups you made and how are they performing now? Thanks

i actually did. Only thing is ,this firmware gives the watts per hashboard and it's very close to what the miner really consumes how can i get that on BOS ?

The watts guessing thing isn't done by bOS yet, maybe if you request this feature they may consider it for a future release. I guess some people would have to volunteer measuring at different speeds and voltages for them to be able to produce such a thing.
An alternative is to code it yourself (it is open source after all), or pay someone to do it.

We, as well as our partners, have made a lot of such boards, in this mode, the boards work in light mode, this extends the life of the ASIC device.

+1 The control board has enough resources to handle additional boards. The problem can only be in the electrical load of the interface. The total stray capacitance/inductance can be an invisible problem. Resistors suppress transient, but do not solve the gain problem. Remember to carefully remove the flux from the solder points. The transient oscillation is already characteristic of these wires, but an active flux can take away a significant part of the hashrate.
