I am not sure whether this is perfectly fit for scam accusations bored but I believe everyone should aware of this kind of scams and we should not believe the telegram messages and direct personal message on this bitcointalk board as well.
we need to analyse the project and trustworthiness of the person who ever contact you.

No project will contact you directly via Telegram or any other channel. Never! Anyone who asks you for money by reaching out to you is definitely trying to cheat you.

All kinds of real projects are subject to a rule. And they don't trade without this rule or with personal rules.

Op, I don't know why you're saying that it's a new scam and it's too real... Sometimes there are indeed new sophisticated scamming schemes, so I open such threads to become a more informed person. For instance, over the last couple of months, I read about a scam with fake QR codes that send the money to a wrong wallet, and about a malware that pastes not the address a person copied and even pastes an address that has the same 3 first symbols or something. What you're writing sounds like a classic scam, and I am glad you did not get hurt, but this one sounds like the most typical scam scheme.

Thanks for informing the community and seriously any website or person that asks you to deposit your pennies in order to give you any huge amount of money is too broke that he needs your pennies to survive lol. Don't trust these sites folks, they are all full of scams and never real. I have encountered most of these guys and i block and report them anytime they contact me on telegram.

I've never had any dealings with anyone in the Telegram about money before.Any message from someone even indirectly hinting at making a profit, immediately forces me to send this person to the ban.Alas, it is a pity that You fell for such a trick.

The rate of desperation in the cryptocurrency industry is really hitting the roof.

I decided to take this medium to enlighten users to protect themselves and their assets against a new scam in town.

A guy by name "Allen Stanley" messaged me on telegram.
He said he wants us to make money together.
I told him to go on, he said he works with Betxloot.com,a crypto betting site.

He said he could make anyone he likes to win the bet, that he can proof it if I want, but I had to create an account on the above site and bet with at least $70.

He said he would have done it himself, but the team already knew him and his wallet address, so he wanted to make another person win and share in the winning 50/50.

I told him I didn't have such money, so he insulted me, after which I told him to bring the $70 for the betting, then he will take 60% if he makes me win.

He told me to give him my username on the site, which I did, immediately he sent $70 to my dashboard.
He told me to place a bet, which I did, when the bet which lasts about 2mins was up, he made me a winner.

I won $4998, he dropped his btc address and told me to withdraw and then send his 50%, to me it was too good to be true.

So I attempted to withdraw to my btc wallet, and a message popped up, it read "because it's a new account, your assets are frozen, you will have to deposit about $100 - $170 to unfreeze your account.

When I showed him a screenshot, he pretended as though it was random, he started persuading me to deposit $100 to unfreeze the account,so I could withdraw the huge sum I had won.

I believe by now you too have come to understand that it is a scam site, Allen Stanley is working to get people deposit $100 to get a winning that is not real.

Even other members of the platform were chatting of a game that doesn't exist, making it seem like a normal activity, which we already know they are all part of this scam group.

Please do not fall for this new scam betxloot.com, they might want to entice you with huge winnings, but a they want us your btc, don't give in.

this was an obvious scam I bolded the reason why.

It is easy to create multiple wallets multiple emails and multiple accounts on most any website.

When he said he had an account and was known by the website and needed a new account name to hide from the website that was a red flag.
In fact If he could win anytime he wold just make a different account and wallet to do so.

take a look at my signature and realize that he simply could have 2 or 3 or 4 or more accounts.  I have multiple accounts here.

Well you only lost 100 bucks  lesson learned fairly cheaply.

1956jUdYPFwiBSzt9AECdWj3KE4WV7taiM I can't do 1957philma.. for btc address the i are not allowed This is a secondary account for Philipma1957, don't do business with this account deal with philipma1957

Thank you for this awareness and hope that noobs could see this or if not, they'll always have the sense to think for kind of offers. The same thing that it happen to the others, I'd receive some PMs via telegram but they'll get nothing cause I'd never been replying to them.
I know some of us to have a good intention but can't deny also that some people would like to take advantage.

If I receive the message, I will not respond to that person. The reason is because I do not play gambling. Thank you for providing our information about the scam site. Keep in mind, do not easily believe the message of strangers in your telegram. Because most of these people are trying to cheat and take advantage of us.

that's why this forum is now a little bit quiet compared to 2017, they did everything they could to deceive us, including making fake bounties and so on !!

This is indeed a very smarter way of scamming unsuspecting gamblers, a very greedy person would easily fall for this trick believing that a mere $100 would cash out $4998 which is a massive amount of money to a gullible person, we should also be very careful with dealing with faceless and despirate telegram scammers using of sort of tricks to scam gamblers using a photoshoped fictitious winning slip as a bait to defraud people

Thanks for warning, but I notice that no one would bait that easily because everything was also afraid on scam so they also surely secured their money before start investing on that kind of scam.

Unfortunately, some people are blinded by greediness and even they knew it on the first place they still fall for it and realized it when it's too late.

The only thing that people should remember is never trust an unknown site and don'tbe blinded by greed.

yes it's very clear of fraud, You must make this thread in the scam section: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=83.0 hopefully there are no victims, I also really hate scams, You must provide the fraudulent sitelink or deceptive profile, so we can find out the person or site.

For sure this scammer already tricked someone and wanted to have more, better to be aware of such scammed practices. If there's something too good to be true never to rush out and take actions. Instead it's better to research and find more about the tactics, good thing as OP shared this here to alarm more potential victims. Stay away from such offers from unknown person.

I've gotten it several times. but with a little different trick. someone told me to make an account on the bet site (forgot the name of the site). he said because he had won. but can't draw because of the limit. after I created the account, he sent about $ 5,000 to my account. but when I try to pull it. feedback is the same as what you get guys. New accounts must deposit $ 100 to be able to make transactions. then I tell my friends that they don't get scammers.

I never respond about someone who i don't know PM me and offer something, any PMs i wouldn't ever to respond. I think people should do that because scammers will use a lot of ways to steal money from us. And something like what OP tell to us wouldn't harm anyone if people can ignore it. Glad for OP he is not easily believe to something like that.

This I have known for a long time because there are thousands of crooks stalking us in this market when we are in trouble. When I started having questions in a large group of people, there would certainly be a PM team for me to ask about an x1000-capable investment in a few days. all are bull shit. so in order to avoid all of these scammers, you should have yourself with a doubt and always think that "money is never easy to earn"; If it was so easy, they wouldn't have introduced us. I never respond about someone who i don't know PM me and offer something, any PMs i wouldn't ever to respond. I think people should do that because scammers will use a lot of ways to steal money from us. And something like what OP tell to us wouldn't harm anyone if people can ignore it. Glad for OP he is not easily believe to something like that.
the scammers will certainly do many ways to find people who are easy to get hooked and we must understand it. it's good indeed to forget and ignore things that are not clear, especially on offers that do not go in to what I think is potentially fraudulent. nowadays many methods are done by fraudsters, including sending PM or can also be via email but email will usually be more organized.

Never trust people in telegram unless you really know the person or you have a connection with him. Anything that is too good to be true will eventually fall into a scam category. The moment he said that you will need to deposit a certain amount to do it, that's a big red flag and you should have immediately block him and reported him as soon as possible.

I've never understood why people put this much effort into trying to scam. Between the TG, the website, everything else, why not just do it the honest and correct way? That takes a serious amount of work and now your scam has an hourly wage attached to it which isn't even a very good one. Might as well make your work actually productive and meaningful but that might just be too practical for some.
