I am mining Pi for about 2 months and still the only function of the app is a bottom where you click on mining and that´s all. No use case for the token, no exchange listing, so why we should use the app?
Is this the same PI of PCHAIN or is this different? PI of PCHAIN is already offered in the market. But this PI that we are discussing here is different, right? They have the same ticker that is why I am confused. PI Network is not yet on any exchange right now. I think they are still on development process.

I have not yet heard of anything about mining through mobile phone devices for I know that basically usage of mining devices such as computers is in need to be done because mobile or smart phones are just a small compact version of computers that is made for convenient usage. But if it would be possible to mine using mobile devices, that will be great for it provide convenience. But still, I cannot barely imagine that mobile phones can already cater mining for the reason that mining process requirea big source of electricity and storage which most commonly computers can only possess. Also, I haven't heard about Pi token and if it was already being listed into an exchange and if it is really worthy to be mined. But still, it is quite interesting if it can really be possible to mine using mobile phones.

I'm not sure about mining through cell phones, because it will definitely require a large storage space, is it possible this can be done? while mining through a computer alone still needs a few modifications to get the expected results will be maximal. once there was a developer who made an application with the name "mango coin", and that only mined the coins themselves. well, it seems to be more useful if there are developers who are able to create an application with their own coin name that is able to create new innovations in the crypto world, than to create a miner application on a cell phone that has not yet got clear results.

How we will confirm that this mining apps (PI) not stealing our data.Because this apps is not familiar, not reputed even this coin is not listed in CMC. You have to proof that this app is safe for us.

First of all it's a flop concept as mining will not be profitable and even if you do it for couple of days over mobile you could hardly earn few cents and moreover it will slowdown your mobile. Mining is only for those who have ample of space and cost of electricity is lesser in their country as mining is not for everyone.

Far from reality that it will produce good amount of coins and have decent value in the future, mining is for those good rigs you are just putting your mobile device in danger sooner or later it will collapse and the amount of your mined coins is not enough to replace your phone. Think of all those risk that you'll going to bring from your mobile devices.

When I read the headline, Wow thought it was cool. And I read the comments and realized why I still do not mine using my cell phone) It is very unfortunate that this is all a divorce. And the idea is good, to mine bitcoin or ether via phone, it would be just super. At least several times less than from the farm, but still mine.

For this reason, you should stay away from mining the coins on your cellphone. Mining on mobile only makes your cell phone damaged quickly and the cost we get is also not enough for service costs. We have to count a few small details like that. I personally not recommend to Miner for mining on Cellphone

does it really work? I mean is it really profitable? I heard dozens of threads about mining on the phone, they even made ico about their project. how much hashrate is given from each cellphone? I just think with the capacity of the cellphone battery and it takes a long time to mine coins, it's just a useless thing.

I often try mining via cellphone but it all ends sadly, okay because some people here say if Pi goes well then I'll try it and I'll see if this really works well

Install a malware application to receive "a little amount". Honestly, I don't understand why GooglePlay Store still accept these types of applications. A hundred thousand times less productive than using a VGA or CPU to mine. Even, you could make a better amount if you sharing your data while surfing the website or watch ads on GPT sites.

I think these was an old concept that they are trying to resurrect, for me mining in smartphones is not a good idea, you know why because it may break your phone, when you letting it to mine for hours, just notice in a few hours of continuous usage you can feel that your phone temperature was rising in just an ordinary usage? what about if you are using it to mine cryptocurrency im afraid that it might be explode.

Mining on the phone is a good idea, but until now it didn't work because we only get a few cents when we mine. It is best not to test this method because it is very time-consuming and does not bring benefits to us. It is best to use your phone to trading, it can bring you more profits and your phone will last longer.

I will advise you to just forget about it. Mining on a phone is not good and even if you do and take the risk of making your beautiful phone pass through heat it’s still not worth it because the reward isn’t much. I have tried to mine with my phone once, a 2gb RAM phone with a CPU of 1.3 GHz, and my phone froze up and stopped working and just kept heating up to the extent I was just freaking confused and thought it’s going to blow and then I started to hit the power button and luckily for me the phone switched off and I left it to cool off before restarting it again and it was good. Then I checked if I have gotten any reward from the platform and I got zero, lol. So, it is not worth it, unless this one will be different. But my advice is that if you want to mine, buy a computer and set-up your miner.

If it is mining as in mining, that is not going to last long. If a CPU overheats and consumes a lot of electric energy, then a cell phone will have a shorter battery or life span. Think twice about this. You might end up buying a new cell phone every month.

Pi is not yet ready to trade till now. How many coin we will get for 24hours mining? Does it consume too much space in mobile? Does it consume too much energy? Faster device will mine more coins than old/slower cheap? Please answer these questions. App will be safe as google store has stored it, it seems If you are talking about PI, I believe the daily reward is the same whether you have an old CP or the high end new brand as long as the app is compatible. The only thing that will have you an advantage is for you to have lots of referral. The more people you refer on the PI network the bigger the bonuses you will get. PI network is just a simulation and there is really no mining activity when you run it.
I agree that it is not advisable to mine on a mobile phone, it will cost you more than your mining profit.

Funny because cellphones cannot sustain btc or altcoins mining today. As time pass by and btc keeps on making the halving gpu will always need to be upgraded in order to maintain the speed of solving the blocks and to get the reward as fast as your gpu performance. How can you expect a mobile phone to mine anything when the power and memory is very limited. Think about it guys.

I think there's some mistake in your mind, there's no profitable mining using phone. The right answer is built your own rig, use your warehouse or garage as space, make solar energy for electricity supply and let it run. Big fund at the front but you'll get huge income at the end. Use phone as the function, communication only. Mining need space, hard equipment and electricity supply, all of that can't be done by phone.

Actually this is a fun thing, we just have to capitalize on the smartphone and start getting from the results of mining. but behind it all, if you think broadly, this is not a form of innovation, but just to play. imagine if your smartphone lives 24 hours full and with heavy tasks like this mining. I'm sure the age of your smartphone will not be long, plus malware sometimes likes to infiltrate obscure programs. It's better to use the PoS method in my opinion.

There's a possibility of one buying new phone as you have rightly said. Basically I wouldn't advise anyone to ever try using his or her phone for mining of any kind. Phones has low capacity to mining compare to computers which where designed for such purpose.
