And with each passing month, I am getting more and more skeptical about any spike from the block reward halving. Only a few months are remaining. I think it is not possible for mass alts, but it will be possible for alts in the top 10. For the past 3 days, when bitcoin continued to grow, only the top alts grew. in addition, all alts outside the top 10 have dropped because investors sold tokens to buy coins in the top 10. I'm worried about a market where only the top 10 coins actually work, in addition All other coins die. If this were to happen, it would be a disaster.

First of all, i want you to know that coins are ranked on capital market base on there trade volume and capital not by there performance in the market and for an altcoin to make it to the top 10 doesnt make the coin to be good investment. But, this year will be year for bitcoin and altcoin that have the right utility to survive in the market.

the question is very subjective as it depends on what altcoin are you referring to. if the alt is crap then i dont think its price will be good. but if that coin has real app and real users why not? but aside from that, the coin should have active dev team that is not greedy. and we wont know that until they disappear. so if you want to invest in a particular coin, closely follow the movement of their team and the updates. somehow you can get signals or hints what they are planning next...

The reason why altcoins has dropped because bitcoin also dropped it's price. From all indications altcoin prices will be better off this year compared to 2019. It's really encouraging to see the market pick up, with Bitcoin being the lead. However there are some unverified statements that the clash between America and Iran is also influencing the market uptrend, I think the principal push for the market is Bitcoin halving news. Well, I'm holding just 3 altcoins at the moment, with my major holding being Bitcoin, hoping they do well.
