Maybe they do it so that their tokens are maintained when they launch tokens on the market and maybe that is one of their market strategies so that participants who want to have these tokens can buy them during IEO so they can bring in new investors in the project. so the token ecosystem is safe.

I read that you dont believe that ICO trend will die. Well, surprise!! Its already dead. Even IEO space is dead already. Binance IEO projects got investments but the development of those projects is not incremental and the value of their token is rather artificial than community driven.
Most of the projects used to start their journey with ETH blockchain but now its hard to start a project and to get investments.

Because many people awake now and know that it not  good way of investment . Whos investors want to lose his money? Of course no one , and if they know they will not earn from it instead they will lose money no one will invest. Even how good your project right now it will hard to get investors.

as long as altcoin appears, it is to compete with BITCOIN and they are thrilled by BITCOIN's blockchain technology but until now no one has been able to compete with BITCOIN even in the near future there is a coin called LIBRA owned by facebook which is rumored to rival BITCOIN instead of changing its position

But the majority started to think that ICO has already fallen and there's no more comeback to it. If there will be a new way of investing then it will be this year to see if somebody will show a reinvented way like that.

It's hard to think that there will be a boom for ICOs this year, this is gonna be the year of bitcoin and not for ICO. And the logic that lies to the pump of bitcoin is that many alts will also going to pump but I'm not saying that all of them will.

well some people say ICO will die completely I don't believe in that.
and if the economic situation is like a bubble, not only is the crypto market all the same fields.
and at the last crypto bubble that explodes at the beginning of 2018, then of course there will be another bubble to be created and I'm curious whether it will be this year or next year or a few more years.
I also believe that not all alt will go up if this year's BTC will go up.

If that's what you believe it's okay because we'll see it this year up to next year if there will be remaining people that are still interested in investing and conducting ICO. About the next bubble, sure there will be and it wouldn't take long because we're about to see it again.

Not sure when it will happen but as long as you can maintain yourself and prepared for it, that's what you should be focusing on. And if a new investing style comes out, expect that the top coins will be its top choice as payment and ETH is included to it.

Bitcoin is always King, ETH is trying to become king like Bitcoin but failing to survive its current value. When we clearly observe both of them in the market even ETH price completely depends upon the price of Bitcoin, whenever the price of Bitcoin is increasing.decreasing the price of ETH is fluctuating hugely.

I just found three intended campaigns, and as far as I know Tael has been traded on the top exchange. I hope it will be a good climate for other projects too, we don't want the same atmosphere as last year. For ico, the developer might think of preventing a collapse in prices because there is no more pressure from hunters to dump quickly, but the most important thing is how to succeed with ico first.

This has been suggested last year because the projects are falling one by one each year. The problem is, they don't have any budget for it. Most of the projects that are currently advertised are only using their own coin as a payment for the bounty participants. That's why they suggested this method of payment. After that, I think I only saw 10 projects that have been paying ETH for their participants.

I'm on a campaign that's paying with token that already in a market, which is Emirex, I'm glad they launch a campaign like this, but with so many participants and it seems they are not limiting participants, I don't think I will receive big rewards, but at least it's much better way better, than waiting for a year for your reward to have value.

If a project is willing to pay you in ETH then i think it will be better to collect their tokens instead I mean is a very serious courage to pay bounty in other coins that the project designated token It just means there is a very high prediction on it and is likely to have more values compared to what you are paid

Not really and we can't be even be sure that their token will have a decent value afterwards.
Just have eth for payment so you'll be sure that you're not wasting your time to a senseless project. And besides, if you want the value to appreciate then just hold it.

I have also discovered this, even that had happened in the past years when ICO events were being held a lot. indeed it is still very rare, perhaps one of the reasons is the lack of funding when the project was run. and for the reason why they chose to pay participants with ETH, it makes sense that it is done to avoid the destruction of their token / altcoin prices when entering the market later.

Will someone who wants to create a project based on ETH will create it unless he believes it? Were the others better than ETH? The price of NEO, EOS and TRX was lower last year. well, maybe it can happen in 2020 many projects will paid with ethereum or another coins has listed on the market. because project that paid with these coins more interest for bounty hunter than ico or projects paid with token for the right now. so far i only know yobit that paid with bitcoin, and no other projects is paid with coins that already listings on the market

i hope in 2020 can many projects will paid minimum with ethereum

   I think the same like you, we can hope that this year we will have a better climate and that market will be kind to new projects.
Last two years were hard for many new projects, just some were successful among many others. This year started with some good
bullish days, that can be a good signal.

if indeed ico / ieo is dead, does that mean there is no more development needed?
or have we reached the final stage of the blockchain? I think it's a mistake the development will continue even if ico or ieo are no longer a trend, or they find another way later.

yes I think this needs to be realized if the project really wants to be successful and get a lot of support they have to show that they are solid, able, whatever trustworthiness that makes investors and people involved in the project to be convinced.

nah, right that that's what I see there have been several projects in the past few weeks, so we expect new projects to do the same thing in order to get a lot of positive responses.

I don't see any bounty paying with ETH or other altcoins list at exchange. There are only a few signature campaigns in the forum that are making payments in BTC but in very small numbers. Bounties currently do not make payments with ETH because new projects are very under budget and they are looking for investors through bounty, and they need money to sustain their operations. So the option of bounty payment with ETH would be impossible for them.
