some time lately, I have seen several projects making payments using ETH. I did not say that new projects will die but they might use this alternative, so my conclusion is whether this will be a new era in 2020 where all projects will make payments using ETH or other coins that are already on the market, or is it just a coincidence that they use this method, to avoid a very drastic decline in value when listing on the market? the initial appearance of IEO was also ignored but it boomed in mid-2019. share your opinion, any advice will be apreciate The team developer is definitely considering giving rewards to participants and one of them is to pay using Ethereum and I think this is an effective way to attract bounty hunters. Paying with Ethereum does not mean they do not believe in the project itself but one of the marketing strategies in marketing the project

There are still new project that uses ETH platform but not all of the new projects uses it. There is also EOS platform, waves platfrom, Binance platform etc. that uses their native token for payment. They also have a decentralized exchange to trade. In short, it is not only ETH that is used as payment but rather, it depends on what platform they are using and what crypto currency the project owner decided to accept.

So far, I have seen several projects that claim to pay with ETH, and the results are all scam projects, which is really disappointing. The IEO project was very popular in the beginning, and slowly investors lost confidence in this approach.
Get used to it, since the market conditions are so difficult for icos I would have thought that scammers would have given up already but it seems they are trying to find all possible ways to try to scam bounty hunters and it seems they are now offering to pay their bounty hunters with ETH but unless they sign an address with enough funds to pay everyone then you should not participate since the chances you lose your time are going to be very high. For me scammers will always be there and if you are a project that is trying to provide payments to bounty hunters in the form of eth I think it will attract a lot of attention for bounty hunters and also investors to participate in the project. Regardless of the scam or not the project, of course there will be many people who are very enthusiastic to participate in the project and I think a project like this must prepare a large amount of funds to be able to develop their projects.

This is another way to attract a lot of bounty hunter to support their idea for the bounty programme. But it is a guarantee that when they are listed on some markets, the project will be successful. And I doubt that this way will take a long time since the investor's confidence is that IEO / ICO will yield a huge profit in the short term, which means that they will always sell the coin / token when the exchange has started.

The enthusiasm of bounty hunters to keep participating in bounties is going down dramatically, just as the interest of investors is going down bounty hunters are getting tired of always receiving the short end of the stick, they are always denied their payment for ridiculous reasons and if this keeps happening to you then it is natural that at some point you are going to give up regardless of the promises of the developers about the payments they will give to you if you participate in their campaign.

I guess it doesn't matter if there are several projects doing that because of course that's it's better than getting paid through tokens. there is a possibility if there is a project using payment via ETH as you said to avoid large dumps when listing on the market and I strongly support if there are projects doing that method on at this time.

We all wish they would implement this method, it would be a great help to the project and the bounty hunter. We will not see the token price collapse when the bounty tokens are distributed, and the bounty hunters will be more motivated to work than before. But honestly new projects won't spend their budget to do this, they need to develop their project instead of spending it on marketing.

Well, back in the days, when bounties still have had a good rewards, a few of them already done this before. Paying its participants using Ethereum or even bitcoin. And I could say a lot of people preferred that way. Just like you said, it might avoid the unnecessary dump or things. Especially with new projects nowadays. Right now, is more like the rewards will be locked rather than paying them with other altcoins. Still, those projects cannot prevent the price to decrease in full speed. It's the team's call tho, whether to pay the participants with their new altcoin or other coins.

This is like a bounty that is paid with BTC because ETH is very liquid where bounty hunters can cash out their reward anytime and in any exchanges. With this, it would also encourage investors to put their money since the business who runs bounty prove that they are capable and they have capital for marketing expenses and does not fully rely on the amount they'll raise.

Do not know if it makes sense for projects. Everybody is struggling to collect a soft cap nowadays, reducing all the caps for bounty hunters. I can hardly imagine a new project that is going to pay from their ICO/IEO money to bounty hunters.

That's the right solution to give a BTC or ETH reward for a bounty campaign if dev is afraid of dumping on their own coins or tokens. So there is no more reason to delay distribution or lock rewards for bounty hunters. Usually, only truly legitimate projects are willing to provide BTC and ETH rewards, and that is very rare. Even if there were, the participants would be limited and the conditions would be difficult. Some projects that give BTC rewards, such as projects from yobit and cryptotalk (already end), bounties handled by yahoo and hampuz, and the campaign that I follow now is bestchange. So do not miss information, usually a lot of applicants.

And in return as those projects keep scamming bounty hunters or they reduce their pay after the fact or they change the rules at the end of the campaign we are seeing that bounty hunters are not really interested in participating in those campaigns, and what are they going to do to get such a free advertising? Also many of those that promoted those icos not only invested their time in those icos they also invested their money in them and now that is no longer the case anymore.

Personally, I wished every project managers paid hunters with either Ethereum or Bitcoin since hunters kinda provide them with their services in promoting their projects. project managers gain whiles bounty hunters suffer..

I hope this will be the payment trend for 2020 using ETH, especially if payments are made every week, thereby reducing the fraud that will occur and in my opinion this is also a way to make the price of new tokens / coins not fall by grace. hunters who sell below the price, because they already pay ETH every week. I hope more projects will be paid by ETH this year.

some time lately ETH payments have been around a long time, those who pay with ETH are only a few because most projects will pay bounty hunters with tokens and this is not in any era, all is reasonable

The goal of most ICO websites are to make money not to give out money, Paying with ETH is too expensive for them. They rather attract bounty users with their 1,000,000 USD worth of tokens that they created out of thin air. One more thing, Most ICO only have the budget to setup a website and their tokens which roughly cost $200 all in all with the generic ICO template. Then they are aiming to raised Millions of USD for a mere $200 investment
