NitrogenSports Limiting Big Time

Is it normal for Nitro to limit your sports betting bets? I was always able to bet anywhere from 1-6 bitcoins on most sports. However, this past week, I’ve been limited to only 0.012 btc on most sports, except for NFL, which the limit is 0.078, still much much lower than the limit of a new account and especially lower than what my former limit was. I’ve contacted Nitrogen about this issue but all they replied with is that their management had manually adjusted my limit because they have the right to. Has anyone ever had this issue? How were you able to raise your limits again? Thanks.

Every casino has the rights to manage its own risk management and bankroll. If they limit the maximum bet pot, they mostly know what they are doing.

Do you bet often and win big amounts? Maybe that is the reason your account got limited.

Yeah I do bet often. Overall I’m up a good amount but I’m also down about 12 btcs since December and have been steadily losing since. So I find it odd that they would limit me when they were winning everything back.

To clarify, I’m looking for a sportsbook without any live betting or very limited live betting, like Nitro. The reason is because I don’t trust myself with access to live betting, since I always end up doing random live bets out of tilt, boredom, or need for action.

Fairlay is your best shot especially that you are asking for no live betting , well it has live betting but it really sucks so you will probably just stop checking live there
odds are better than nitrogen as well since they quote the exact prices of pinnacle with no extra margin , so you will be getting pinnacle but as an exchange ( you pay extra small fee on winnings and there are no parlays )

if limit is the main problem then stake may be good for you as well , odds are worse than fairlay most of the times but I have seen crazy big bets going on
Fairlay has good limits tho for the big leagues but most of the times you won't be able to bet 6 BTC

This is extremely standard and well within their right. Your best option is to look at other sportsbooks if you want to bet large.

NitrogenSports is one of the best sportsbooks that accept bitcoin but if your issue is the limit per bit that is their right to implement that.
I saw a thread here in the forum that listed a comparison of all sportsbooks but it seems outdated, HERE. or maybe you will find good sportsbooks, HERE.

Yes,,, it is very normal. I think all bookies do this as part of their own risk management. Unfortunately, you are doing well, too well and they need to manage their risk of losses.

The only solution is to find a P2P market and make your own deals and hope people take it. Or put up all your bets early and hope there is enough volume to take it.

As SyG and leea say, go for Fairlay. You have absolutely no limits there, but it's a betting marketplace. You take all the offers you want (max price is listed) and if you want to go for more, just place the order. It'll stay there until someone takes it (your bets are matched) or til they expire.

Really need more market makers there too as lines are limited.

P.S. @SyGambler there are some parlays there, DarkStar actually gave me the tip. Search for "acca" and a small list will sometimes show up. Pretty limited of course, like now there's just nothing. Tends to be on big champions league nights.

if that's the case I guess you kinda have close to zero chance finding the parlay that you actually want to bet , haven't seen them before and as you said there are none now so still have no idea regarding that

Maybe thats why the nitrogensport team limiting their account but no need to worry because this is normal to any gambling/sportbook site they have a right yo do action such this problem. But its still nitrogensport is one of a biggest sportbook in the cryptoworld gambling.

If you have no problem filling KYC, I suggest Pinnacle though there are live betting options. You will never be limited no matter how much you win based on what I have seen. If you have a problem with KYC, Fairlay is the best option hands down.

Liquidity is never an issue in Pinnacle and majority of the time in Fairlay which is why I suggest both these options. Fairlay copies Pinnacle odds which is why their margin is low.

Yeah, it's basically probably the same few people making the parlays, they're fixed, usually ML bets on big games, so you have to take their picks at the odds they offer. Also you can search "parlay" or "multi" depending on how the market creator named them!

Alternatively, you make your own preferred parlay and offer it at odds better than you can find on Pinnacle... and then hope someone takes it or goes against it.
