He thinks the price will drop, and he wants to fleece others by "predicting" it.  (maybe, of course)

You said you'd do it for between 50 - 100 Bitcoins, then you got a 25 BTC pledge, and now it's another 175?

I'll pledge 25 Bitcoins for you to do it, but only up to a ceiling of 125 total coins pledged to you. You mark in this thread when you're going to do it, and if it happens within a 1-2 minute window, you'll get your coins.

Do you know what would be a good way to crash the price of Bitcoins on MTGox? Get a whole bunch of coins from a bunch of idiots and then sell them all on MTGox. It's pretty damn obvious.

sorry, i meant 50 - 100 per person.  but i'll only do it if i can get enough people  "idiots" willing to send coins before i dump - this way i'll have that much more to dump onto the market at once... having an even more drastic effect.

okay, i have one taker.

Oh, I think you misunderstand.  I'm not pledging anything.  I'm undercutting your price.  Smiley

That will move the market a whole $0.10...Barely!
Definitely not below $2.00 with that order.

You are correct, sir.

I don't have to dump anything.  I can crash the entire market by pure force of will.  People are understandably skeptical, so my offer includes a 100% money-back guarantee if I fail.

25BTC with a warranty from me, or 200BTC and no assurances at all from some guy named bitcon.  Choose wisely, people.
