It's a good step forward for litecoin project but this doesn't guarantee any price surge, LTC is not bad at all in fact will chose LTC over thousands of coins we have in crypto space today but the rules still stand the same, only invest what you can afford to lose

Nice to see something new from the Litcoin side of things, will it pump it? maybe 15%  
but i think that even when it does, it will just get dumped instantly, people been stacking waiting for a good time to get out of LTC for months i fear
maybe this is just a tactic by Binance to get a good price for their coins, as in sure the Chinese are the largest LTC miners in the world, and have ALOT of coins to dump right now

I do not think that the event OP stated is enough to make LTC peak again in 2020.  Many investors lost their trust on that coin after the developer himself dump almost all his LTC holdings when crypto market is on its peak.  The founder may have his reason but a dump is a dump that crashes LTC price.

It can be, it's not only bitcoin that will have the popular event for this year but Litecoin has and other altcoins too. I think the mimble wimble implementation and development for Litecoin will create a significant impact.

And that could result in an uprising price because many investors do like this kind of report and development for the good of a coin. It's still the silver of the cryptocurrencies and the favor of everyone for this coin is still there.

Founder no longer holds LTC, and the project is nearly out of order, so in the near future there will not be much important news appearing on this coin. However, many investors still trust Litecoin because this is a coin that can be applied very well in our daily lives. Of course it will take a lot of time to do this and the Litecoin development team will be up and running again someday.

This is probably still not enough to boost it to any significant levels. What is happening now is the wales unloading onto people on every rally there is. LTC is going down long term and nothing willl change it I'm afraid. It is pretty useless and everyone is slowly realizing it and getting rid of it. Also it has good name but it's too old. When people learn about crypto now it BTC and ETH and only later later they see LTC. It''s the same when new money is supposed to flow in. Everything else is much newer/cooler and better known for newcomers. The 'internetz silver' sentiment is basially gone and nothing on the horizon seems to be able to change it.

That hurts upon hearing about own developer of this coin dumped an asset so bad. Whatever reason is that, it's still a disappointed story all about for ltc. We only needed to wait for further changes of the ltc community, after the incident happened on their project. Will it prosper in the next months or it will be worst along the way.

Only a short term hype and right now the price of litecoin is going back again to the bottom as the correction that happened with bitcoin.
The futures launch of litecoin doesn't give a lot of impact on the price of litecoin. I guess you can see how the price of litecoin is also getting a small correction too.
it will not touch the peak price again as the big event of litecoin has already ended.
It's so difficult for litecoin to get the bullish trend alone without a big event, mimble wimble news is not yet coming for litecoin.

Depend on the investor itself, if they are believe by coming this information will facilitate them to make more profit with an easy way then the price altcoin will touch another all time high at this year and it is otherwise.

But this is not a benchmark that litecoin will increase because this information. And we know, last year litecoin had met halving event but that event hasn't gave anything to the price, so, you have to understand if someday this information does not have any effect.

I own litecoin for a few reasons, for one whales work in mysterious ways. It’s not always about technology, and I believe a 2-3 times jump is naturally inevitable again in this year. for second, I believe this developer team are some of the best in crypto, which led to meaningful partnerships with quick implementations. something many new cryptocurrencies couldn't achieve. Litecoin is at least a better alternative to Bitcoin. I doubt we'll see another ATH in 2020 but I bought 10 litecoin at around $45 earlier this year on coinbase and will hold at least till end of 2022.

it is very unlikely for ltc because it did not make any progress in 2019 and the fact that charlie did not do any development last year proven the project already lacks vitality and capable person in running it. we will see a bull again and ltc will go up too without exception, but do not think it will reach its ath again because it has nothing to offer.

This is good news for LTC since halving until the present. I hope that in the future the price of LTC will be improved by news like this, at least in 2020 I think the LTC price will increase 100% compared to the current price but I'm not sure the price of LTC will reach ATH because it's too hard and I don't believe any altcoins in the market can do it in this year

This is a true statement that the developer himself dump all of his coins and then publicly stated about it which is not a great way to instill trust to the investors and if you look carefully that is the case with all of the coins in the market, the developers dump the coins in the market when ever the price rallies, apart from bitcoin the rest of the developers are here in this market to make money and that is a fact and even ETH developers dumped millions of dollars worth in the market.

It depends on what you mean when you talk about "price" of litecoin, do you mean price of litecoin in bitcoin terms or do you mean in dollar terms. If you mean bitcoin terms I feel like the price will not go up as much as everyone thinks, bitcoin will have a halving very soon and that will result with price going up or at least that is what everyone counts on, so if everything goes according to play for bitcoin we will probably end up the year with at least 2x once again (like $3.5k last year to $7k this year, will be $7k to $14k this year) at the very least.

Now, litecoin could go up even higher than 2x and that is quite possible but since bitcoin will go up as well I doubt price of litecoin in bitcoin terms will be too much higher, just a bit higher. However if you are talking about dollar terms, I am 90% sure price of litecoin will definitely go up this year for sure.

Even while i don't hold any Litecoin, i use it daily. I would say that it deserves a rise on btc pair but that's not going to happen if the btc starts to rise soon.

in my opinion no, it will too much affect the price of LTC, news about LTC available in future binance will only make LTC prices rise little.

LTC is one of the huge volume altcoin and purely follow the Bottom way, so Once Bitcoin will going to moon automatically it will also raise constantly in crypto market. If you think BNB will going faster, obviously everyone accepting because of last year ratio and future is unpredictable so I hope LTC also moving faster on further hype.
