While most of the hype has died down on XVG, I still think it's a good investment. You could really make a killing if it ever got anywhere near it's all time high again. However, that will be very difficult for that to happen. It seems like most of the people who truly liked this project left whenever they missed the release date for their tor implementation and completely botched that whole thing up. But, if they ever came out with a new update that added some cool new features, then who really knows?

XVG has alot of coins out there, but i still think it has hope
Something about this one, it has had some really good pumps over the years.
Not sure if its whales with a master plan, or someone just making really good long trades tho, as IIRC its not PoS, so hodling it is strickly a speculative endeavor

I have not seen any sign of the growth of XVG in the near future. The halving event of bitcoin will certainly help the coins grow but XVG certainly does not make much difference. You can see the 1G chart of XVG at Binance, which seems to be a falling band after many weeks. Therefore, we should not speculate in XVG now, we should wait for clearer signals to avoid risks. instead of choosing alts with small marketcap, you should choose alts in the top 10, it is much more promising. such as BCH, TRX, Tezos, ETH, ...

It will not help XVG to get the bullish trend and the fact that XVG is still going to the bottom price. People are feeling tired to hodl this crap coin and that's why they are throwing it to the market and then put their money into the promising coins.
It's always become the worst decision to consider this as investment. I hope that OP will see that based on the fundamental of the coin rather than putting technical analysis as the priority to determine how good that coin is to be used as investation. It's a good thing to remind him about this.

I think that in a bull market, investing or diversifying your portfolio with these high risk, high growth and high volatility tokens won't hurt at all. In fact, it is almost guaranteed that their values will get pumped sooner or later as a matter of time, as long as you are prepared and willing to hold the coin indefinitely.

That said though, don't put too much, as the fundamentals of these pump and dump coins are generally poorer.

XVG is an anonymous coin as well so you have to take into account the risk that exchanges may have to delist them due to regulation in the near future.

I have traded on Verge but not for the long term, only looking for short-term profits in some time trading it on bittrex exchanges usually altcoin is very often listed on the pump group list there a few years ago, I just got information from this thread that Verge apparently already registered at binance, it looks like this project is really qualified to have investors and a strong community so that it can be added to binance, the price of 42 satoshi from a supply of more than 16 billion I think it's quite reasonable to buy it at that price and also altcoin is included in the top 100 CMA, but you have to bear the risk yourself, because whatever it is, all trades have risks

Actually, I've been used this coin for trade during the bullish season and I am really profitable at that time but it drops drastically together with bitcoin when the Bullrun's ended up. Like with the others, I sell them but I feel so bad and badly lose my money with this coin. It turns me off and doesn't have a plan to reinvest again. But, I also looking forward to how it changes this time and I may consider of taking the risk again...

Same with the previous coins I got, which I fall on selling during my urgent needs. Risking on the previous coins that we've already dumped is not certain, but when good price will come on your holdings, the most possible outcome is the greatest achievements that we're about to see in the future.

I don't really know about the xvg project but from the total supply of xvg it's not too good for investment because the total amount of xvg is very large it is difficult to make the price of xvg go up, unless if xvg is a good project maybe investors will be interested in raising the price of xvg

I think XVG lost it's potential long ago. I sold out all of XVG coin when they partnered with the Pornhub! After that, I never looked at this coin. That time Verge had great hype, but now, no one talks about it. Some big exchanges are the reason for its stability at this moment, otherwise, I did not see any catchy development in XVG coin!

I still have not seen the potential of XVG in the coming years. Their short-term roadmap has completed it all and now we don't see any long-term strategies from them anymore. It seems like they are delaying or losing creativity. I think you should invest in safer alts like the top 20 CMC alts. Especially ETH, it intends to run Ethereum 2.0 in the future and that could make its price soar. I just want to advise you because I have been speculating as risky as you and encountered many failures. Hope you will reconsider.

Looking at the long term charts it does seem like that XVG gets pumped hard whenever there is a bull market.

So if you think that a bull market is incoming, which is very likely, I think that you should definitely look into investing in these small cap, more volatile coins which are capable of returning ROI in the hundreds of percents in the short term (MONA is another coin that comes into mind, as well as DOGE) from any rally.

Just make sure that you diversify your portfolio. XVG and other such coins shouldn't take up the majority of your long term portfolio.

As coinmarketcap history altcoins price is down of top level. You can invest in this coin if you interested, I agree because this coin is running out of supply. I didn't see this type of maximum supply and future could be good.

when prices dips its always good to buy and the more you need to buy when its on the bottom.  verge however isn't as attractive as people had hyped it. there are just coins way beneficial to invest than it. and often times people listen to advises that says invest to the top coins, if verge can't be found in the top 20, it may really be overlooked.

There's no problem if you have the mindset of investing in this coins, the important thing about this was you had a full knowledge about what is going on with this project. XVG is somehow similar with other coins that has been showing imminent rise history, but became less valuable in the midst of price fall down. XVG is a coin that once reached 1000sts in 2017 but after that time the coin only dropped and didn't help much for the current profit. I think instead of investing in old coins, you should choose a better new coin because they are projects that are very much interested by investors and will definitely bring good profits for you.

In addition, XVG is difficult to return to the best development stage and you should consider carefully before investing this coin because of the risk that can happen if the bear market returns.

If you dig in while the value is dumping then yes it's good to invest and wait, but due to many factors and possible manipulations it can also be
harmful to your investment if you got into a trapped with big pumped and a dumped after. You'll be stuck and needs to wait and hang on with
your assets. Consider your emotions before jumping into any assets to invest your money.
