I really don't have an experience in online dating. Maybe it's just that I'm afraid to become fooled by another person. We don't actually sure if that person is the real one you are talking to. Just like that. But on the other hand, I think it is okay too, and it can work since I do have lots of friends using an app for dating which also got successful. But the decision is yours, buddy!

personally i think online dating should be the last resort. i know the excitement that comes along with it, but if you ask me, there's a lot of other ways to get a date like in the real world. not today of course given our global crisis. but yeah.

i'm 46. going through a divorce. tried bumble and tinder. went on one date after swiping on thousands. most of the time women simply wouldn't reply to initial contact. I eventually wrote a bot to swipe on everyone. Got a couple of messages, then nothing....i cancelled all the accounts because apparently I'm outside what their algorithm deam s "dateworthy"

What'sthe difference? It doesn't matter if you found your partner in the internet or in real life.
We all know that even in real life there are couples who ends up cheating over their partner and only few would remain loyal.
So does in the internet or online dating site.
I don't think that online dating is a waste of time it would only depends on who you spend it with.

I do not like to do online dating because I can not trust the person behind the computer screen.  There are too many men on online dating sits pretending to be a woman.
For me it is much realer to go out to a social gathering and use my talents to talk to women.

Online dating doesn't always end well, my friend met a man from a dating online site, the man admitted he was still not married even though the man already had 2 children. luckily my friend didn't lose more money because he was tricked by the man.

my brother found His Wife in Online dating site , they are now 6 years married and happy living with 2 daughter .
I believe that this is depend on how you look at it and how you deal with it, sometimes Love moves in mysterious ways that we cannot explain , while sometimes this brings also pain.

Online dating is not ideal, the person might be posing as someone it's not, when you finally meet you will be very disappointed, I meet a girl on Facebook the day we finally meet, I was disappointed because she was not the person I saw online.
