Trojan mining software

Warning, for those who are new to mining altcoins and feel like finding new mining software on this forum in mining altcoin section you have to be extremely careful, some miners on there will spread toughest trojans on your PC that will nearly take over your PC from you, i was a victim and i don't want anyone to fall for it, go for popular well known miners like xmrig, cgminer etc instead

I think it's very known that you shouldn't download mining software from unknown sources. If you're into mining altcoins, don't go for the unpopular ones if you're ever an experimenter please know what you do. Did the trojan took your funds or you're lucky to save it?

It cost me lots of headache because the trojans are to stubborn to remove, i used few malware removers but they can't get the job done, even windows10 security protector failed to fully removed the trojans until i tried out malwarefox antimalware, i was shocked it removed all, over 56 trojans spreads out already, i learned my lesson

I know others used some kind of sandbox software to at least isolate and test and see the download program specially from unknown source before they can fully download it to their machine.

To the OP, maybe you need to fully reconfigure your machine to be on the safe side. Maybe there are still some malwares not removed by the application.

You would have been safe if you did research in the first place, if you don't know which mining software to use you can just ask google for popular mining softwares, here are few popular miners
1. CG miner
2. BFG miner
3. CCminer
4. GUI miner
5. CPUminer
6. Easyminer
7. Nicehash miner
8. Minergate
9. Xmrstak 

For easier GUI miner go with nicehash or minergate, hope this list helps

Well , its a old news btw , and my friend got that shit.
He try to mine a new coin on that time, but the wallet.exe need to turned off the antivirus for install it.
Then a few days after the wallet installed, his assest got stolen on his exchange account, the only stupid mistake its just because he didn't activated the 2FA.

This is why 2FA is very important either on crypto wallet or for emails too, you can never tell what's in the next corner waiting to take advantage of your less secured smartphones or PC, yesterday i heard on news that there are new crypto jacking malware now, we need to be careful

Also be aware that some malware looks like legitimate miners, faking the ANN post
but with altered download links.

Always check the links before you download.

besides he didn't activated the 2FA , he also stupid because easly installed brand new coins without checked the review by other people, he just too greedy about want joined pre-mine event.
