Btc bounty participants earn a token on the forum for their posts, some pay more than others though, and your idea of "making good money" depends on the country you live in.

Bitcoin mining is more profitable than most bounty projects but Mining(bitcoin)cost is expensive, to set up a mining rig is not quite affordable for everyone and it's even more expensive in some locations, if you have the money and can foot the bills for the electricity and other cost, then you can think about mining. Bounty hunting is just a way of earning little for posting on the forum, and many of us would still post even without it.

Mining bitcoin is no longer profitable if you are using a handful of ASICs. You would need a huge farm of rigs and maintain them and cool them along with electricity costs to be able to generate a decent ROI.

Then again altcoin mining is one thing that is again more risky but still done by some enthusiasts. The point is to generate a lrage volume of a new altcoin before the prices pump and then sell them at the pump to get a profit to cover your investment. Its risky and often not profitable.

Depends on what bounty you participate in. 99.9% of them are worthless nowadays. I suggest people to go for bitcoin paying campaigns which have value than altcoin campaigns which are the shitcoins.

Soon this bounty platform will all gone because many crowdfunding projects are failing because of the current market condition, only gambling bounty campaign that pays weekly dividends and of course Yobit is rewarding, ICO bounty hunting will become a thing of the past because fewer and fewer projects are coming up, it's possible that in two years time if nothing change, there will be no more ICO.

You can't compare mining with bounty hunting. Mining requires upfront capital for investment in mining equipment while bounty hunting is more like freelance working where you trade your time for money. They aren't substitutes.

I don't know much about mining but I heard you have to buy the latest equipment (S17?) with extremely cheap electricity to profit. Even the profit won't be much unless you have a lot of these mining rigs. Miners these days are professional or corporation with heavy money, buying equipment and electricity in bulk to get cheap prices. Individual miners with small capital can forget mining for profit.

You need to fully engage in both to find answers, for bounty hunting one needs to be very hardworking to earn good money, you have to join countless good projects because not all will be successful, as for mining all you need if electricity and good asic miners

The golden days of bounty hunting are gone. At least for now.
This doesn't mean there are no people willing to participate, the problem is that ICO/IEO/whatever don't get investments, so the number of good new bounties is small. (And too many scam bounties also pollute the "market".)

Also I am not convinced that your approach / your websites are in the right direction. I would certainly not create an user to join to bounties when I can search here in the services area.
Do your sites do more? Do you (properly) check for the projects to make sure they will pay? Do you enforce the bounties escrow the funds? Do you enforce the bounties pay in something else than (useless) tokens?
Maybe the honest answers to these questions could improve your sites/services and make bounties better for everybody, since sooner or later better days should come (probably after Bitcoin rises more though).

Mining altcoins could be your choice for now if you are trying to get some idea about mining bitcoin. Bounty hunting is no longer recommended by most just take a look at the number of bounty hunters out there. Look at the supply and demand of it.

Too many supply for bounty hunters but the demand for the good bounties isn't that high. If you're in the middle of it, I'd say that choose the one that fits your time. Mining will cost you electricity, time and money while in bounty hunting you need more of patience but it's likely to be wasted as you have experienced.

Mining set up will cost you a lot and to me it's not worth it and presently mining is not profitable, it's better to invest in top coins and start hunting for bounties, mind you bounties are not always rewarding, sometimes you can end up wasting your time

Cryptomining is more preferable because all bounty campaign now are useless, check out bounty hunters complaints, their wallets are bags of shitcoins coming from worthless campaign, at least on Cryptocurrency you can mine trade able coins, on bounty hunting it's almost a gamble you never know when it's going to hit the market.

For me, who honestly don't have much capital for crypto mining, i think prefer on bounty hunting. Because it can start by a lot of people and they don't need big capital for miner that maybe cost higher for now. Crypto mining especially ETH already have their time, and now mostly of miner they sell their mining tools like GPUs for really cheap price, and they bought it when it got hyped and in higher price than normal.

If you live in the country where electricity is free or cost cheap then go with my minings since you will earn with this but don't expect to get more money on this since the difficulty is so high, but if you don't have capital for this then bounty hunting is the last option but sad to say this category is not profitable since not all of the campaign pays that's why we need to be selective and informative.

Crypto mining will be profitable if you able to find a new coin in the market that will be bright in the future, unless you have a lot capital, you can mine the top cryptocurrency in the market.

Bounty hunting will be dead soon, it's totally waste of time. Too many projects that can't survive after being listed on the exchange and even a lot scam projects.

For me, Bountyhunter also still earns if you are really diligently and looking for a good project that will produce good if done well.

Bounty rewards can not be ascertained whether this project will end successfully or even with a scamer that often happens until now.
So the research is very important for the bounties by looking for a good project so that the rewards you expect are not in vain and there is value.

There are many bad and scam project in bounty section I don't know if you can find a good bounty campaign because most of them are scam after they end sales or giving promise to promoter who promote their project they run without paying participants. So it's useless to join in bounty campaign if they are not paying BTC or any major coins.

Mining is also good it's profitable if you are mining on the place with less Electricity cost but if you are living on high electricity cost better don't mine.

If you want to earn and make some altcoins better try to offer some skills in services section or do trading which is I think much safer than wasting time on bounty hunting or investing on mining. Mining is only good if you have free or cheap electricity but if not then better to move on.

You already answered yourself when it comes to profitability.If you do see nothing special happened yet then it do already means that bounty hunting is already a shitty one.
I dont prefer on checking on bounty platforms yet they do just list out bounties as many as they can and even deducting your altcoin pay.Better to check on this forum thread when it comes to bounties and search on your own.

Mining is costly and talking about difficulty then it isnt profitable to mine unless if you do have free electricity.(Just answering on whats being asked on topic title. )

 to answer your first question   i can say that both mining and bounty are the same becuase before both of them are booming but as the time passes by both of them also losses thier shine   .  right now mining is not really that profitable same as bounties    .
