For now hunting bounties and mining coins are both not worth it, they both come with a cost and they are both not that encouraging, bounties can get your time wasted for nothing and mining hardly gives good profits too unless you are so rich that you afford a big mining farm
You tell others not to do that but you are also doing bounty campaign right now and is that make sense for you to saying like that? As long as OP is not having a problem and he can deal with all of the risk and it's free for him to do both. Both are still worth. The problem is so many hunters and miners are betting on the new platforms or unknown coin which is not having value in the market.

Yeah. How ironic it is for him. Hahaha.
But for additional input there is no such free in both mining ang bounty hunting. Both of it involves expenses in electricity, Internet and most importantly time. I'm partly agree on him that doing both will not gonna give you enough money compared if you invest your time to your work which gives you fixed income in monthly basis.
