i'm following this asic miner since months.
I read it will be available on Jan 20020, but not a specific date was released.
Does no one have news about this asic availability?
It is the only hardware with a 3 months ROI at the current price!!!

this is the truth of it all
once the asics are being shipped
the break even duration will double to quadruple in no time
so will the profitability
there is no sense of getting an asic because even though you break even in a particular duration
you are never sure till when it will last and then you are just left with a paperweight

"We regret to inform you that due to the continuous delay of third-party foundries, the mass production of our Grin product G32 GPU ASIC has been delayed, so we have to temporarily cancel the mass production of this project.

We believe that this endless waiting and embarrassing situation is not in the interests of Innosilicon's customers, so we have to suspend this project and do our best to recover the investment for our customers.

We are now also willing to sell the complete design of the product to any interested third party, or support the third party to use other processes to ensure that this product can be mass-produced and run in the next year, to protect the interests of future Grin customers.

From now on, we will be the first to arrange a full refund for the first batch of customers who order directly from Innosilicon official channels, and complete the refund for all customers who booked within 30 working days in accordance with the payment order."

~snip~

if there is still profit to be made from the hardware that they have manufactured then why sell it until the prime time that they do not need it anymore
i never supported asics because of the companies producing them always does this kind of foul play and not to mention increasing centralization of the hash rate
