A lot or Artists are working with digital art and NFTs, but personally it’s always nice to physically hold something . Hope this helps .

I personally prefer physical / real artwork (not digital) but everyone has their own tastes..  @OP maybe you can try to sell both (physical artwork or digital artwork) so you can know what is really the most sought after the market.

Size doesn't matter here whether it is small or large as long as it is related in bitcoin, blockchain and the likes stuff. However if you will based your style of artwork by the preference of the community then maybe you should check these 10th anniversary art contest badge voting. The artworks in this thread was made by crypto-artists who attracted most of the forum users here. Maybe you'll have an idea of what type of artwork you are planning to create.

Additionally, some wants a digital copy of a digitally made artwork.

As per seeing your post history, you are trained as a traditional artist, I would suggest that you should create an oil painting that depicts the current issues or trends in cryptospace. It will gain a lot of attention if you'll focus on the Hyperrealism side of oil painting.
