Well, it is not a lot since when I go to my job it is free. Usually schools here has free internet in their teacher's faculty so I have no problem. Why do you bother to ask this question anyway? Internet is not that too much to pay if you have one in your house. Even a simple working students can pay up the cost of the internet. It's unlikely that a broke could not pay their bills though but if your salary is above the average then you can make a living already. In some countries cost of mobile internet is still to high,so they prefer wired connection modem which is more cost effective but in most of the countries internet is getting more cheaper and more places offer free wifi at high speed.

indeed the internet cuts our time and costs more, if we do online shopping, and indeed using a flat internet will definitely save our expenses, but not everyone has it, and in every country, has a benchmark price for 1GB per possible country where you live has cheap internet costs, just imagine if in 1GB of data connection for 1$ runs out in 3 days, or even less than 3 days if we are one of the few people who are active on social media or forums or always remain in exchange. upload video photos and play online games and even watch live streaming, we take the example if in 3 days we spend $ 1 on cellular data costs in 1 month we spend $10-20 only for the internet costs that we use. this calculation is just a simple example if we want to save our expenses.

As everyone said here having an internet connection is not a big deal here and i pay around 9 Euro on average per month one a fiber connection with a decent speed and trading is not the only aspect i do, so if i am going to compare cost per usage then i am in profit because of the amount of content i am able to use with a fairly decent charge plus, not sure what the big deal is. If you would have asked this 20 years back then it would have been a big deal to have a decent connection but things have changed for the better.

Internet is necessary nowadays whether or not you are into cryptocurrency trading. We need it. We need data on our phone even if we are not aware of cryptocurrency. What I interpret from your message is that you aren't talking about internet costs but the time we spend on internet which we could have used to generate income elsewhere. Well we call it the opportunity cost of our time. But this concept is pretty subjective. Your income is based absolutely on your skills and expertise. While everyone has a separate skill set each skill set is valued in market with a different income. Now for this calculation purpose I would divide people into two classes:
1.One are those who don't have any other source of income basically they rely wholly on Internet as their source of income and don't possess any other skill.
2.While second are those who have a full time job but along with that like to earn income from internet.

1. People who don't rely wholly on internet Income: These people have no opportunity cost without internet so obviously these people have no opportunity cost therefore have no "Internet Cost" in your language.

2. People who have other source of Income: This set of people have internet costs as you say but it's not necessary. for example if a person has only 8 hours of job and uses internet in free time then obviously he doesn't has any internet costs while other may have internet costs but the beauty about opportunity cost is that it can't be avoided because you always choose the more beneficial option. So basically everyone can calculate this using their hourly rate multiplied by how many hours they spend. Compare this to what you earn on internet using buying and selling and you could practically see if this is profitable or not.

I only paid $10 monthly for my internet at home and about $15 for my smartphone data package. I think it's a fair price for the service. My $10 internet comes with about 5MBps speed and my $15 mobile data is for 50GB of 4G network. It's worth because my daily activity relies heavily on internet access. Almost 99% of my communication daily use internet. I also need it for entertainment, making money, etc.
